00:00Close the Gap, the project that testifies to COP's commitment to gender equality and inclusion, is five years old.
00:10On the occasion of the 2025 edition of the project, COP launches the campaign Dire Fare Amare,
00:16with which it aims to enlighten reflectors on the need to introduce education to school relations.
00:22This year, the big news, important and complex, that we want to launch to the whole world,
00:29to all stakeholders, is to reason and commit to the topic of sentimental education.
00:37Sentimental education to be inserted in the world of school, with training towards teachers,
00:44but it is essential to help young people to learn, in addition to the ABC of grammar,
00:50also the ABC of feelings, and to have better tools to be inserted in a world of relationship,
00:57less individual and more collective.
00:59During the event, COP also presented the latest progress data of COP's commitment to gender equality and inclusion,
01:06such as the UNI-125 gender certifications, the inclusion of women victims of violence in the world of work
01:12and the results of the investigation in the school of affections, carried out in collaboration with NOMISMA.
01:18We have worked a lot to build questions that would allow to gather the totality of attitudes and behaviors
01:26of people, a certified champion, therefore representative of the population,
01:30compared to the question we were investigating, which we have particularly focused on
01:35as the need for relationship education as a discipline, which is part of the school experience.
01:43This has been very important and interesting for us, because relationship education
01:48somehow becomes the focal point in which a whole series of dimensions fall,
01:54which inherit both the intervention in situations that already present criticism,
01:59and the possibility of preventing a whole series of dimensions,
02:02and above all they offer, through the school experience and the intervention of psychologists,
02:08they offer the family the possibility of having an interlocution
02:12with respect to issues that in a complex society such as the one in which we live,
02:16cannot be reduced to trivializations.
02:20From the survey, awareness has emerged from the families
02:23about the importance of the presence of sexual education courses in schools.
02:27At the same time, however, families are concerned
02:30that these issues may be treated superficially.
02:34It is a fair concern that is overcome knowing that the staff and the way of doing these courses
02:42and of transmitting these knowledge and skills in the correct way exists.
02:46We have the guidelines of the WHO, which have been thought and studied by a multidisciplinary group
02:52of super-professionals in the field, who have conceived these guidelines
02:58according to age and age range.
03:01Every age has its own skills to acquire.
03:05It is an experimented protocol.
03:08We cannot talk about neutrality, because nothing is neutral,
03:12but it is very scientific and also very safe and welcoming in the way of transmitting skills.
