00:00The chaos in Bersatu is getting more and more serious when two competing parties want their respective leaders to consult the party before the PRU-16,

00:11at the same time raising concerns about the party's internal stability.

00:16The party's source said the chaos began in July last year, when the President of the party, Md Yassin,

00:22outlined the transition plan, which saw Hamzah Zainuddin trained as his subordinate and Azmin Ali as a loyal employee.

00:31Speaking to the FNP, the source said, although the transition plan and leadership are clear,

00:37Kem Azmin believes only Muhyiddin is able to lead Bersatu in the PRU-16,

00:43while Hamzah's supporters insist that the transition plan is respected.

00:48In that, another source said, the tension in Bersatu began in December 2023,

00:54following speculation that Hamzah was at risk of being dismissed due to an issue in the party's leadership.

01:02It can be said that the situation pushed the leaders of Bersatu to hold a retreat,

01:07where they agreed that Muhyiddin would have a say in all leadership decisions

01:13and would give responsibility to Hamzah when the time came.

01:17He also stated that Azmin took responsibility as a loyal employee after the retreat.
