00:48Give us an amulet so that we can understand and learn the matters of religion and then tell our children.

00:59What are the aspects in which the upbringing of children is important?
01:04I want people to be aware of this question as well.
01:08In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
01:10As Mufti Sahib has mentioned, the first thing we should do is to try to educate our children in the matters that are obligatory upon us.
01:20The Khalil of Allah, Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. has prayed that
01:27May Allah make us and our children to be worshippers.
01:31If we become worshippers and become good, our children will become good.
01:35This is the basic thing.
01:37Similarly, when Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. was leaving Hazrat Ismail A.S. and Hazrat Hajra A.S.,
01:43he prayed a lot in the presence of Allah.
01:49O Allah, I am leaving my children.
01:51Then he started praying.
01:55He prayed in that as well.
01:57O Allah, grant them the ability to pray.
01:59O Allah, grant them the ability to pray.
02:06He said, O Allah, they are alone.
02:08Make them like the stars.
02:10Draw the hearts of people.
02:12Then he said, O Allah, grant them sustenance from fruits.
02:15Eat that sustenance and show Your gratitude.
02:18Today, the king of the world is watching.
02:20This is the order.
02:22First of all, the things that are obligatory upon your children.
02:25Similarly, in the Quran, Surah Luqman,
02:28Hakeem Luqman was not a person of wisdom.
02:34But Allah gave him that wisdom,
02:37Allahu Akbar,
02:39that Allah opened his heart.
02:41So, he brought up his son.
02:43Allah mentioned those blessed words in the Quran,
02:46in Surah Luqman.
02:48First of all, he said,
02:50O my son, do not associate anyone with Allah.
02:53He said, this is a great injustice.
02:55What is injustice?
02:57To put something in its wrongful place.
03:00To lower the status of Allah.
03:02To put someone from the creation
03:04equal to Allah.
03:06No.
03:08There is no equal to Allah.
03:10So, first of all, he said,
03:12O my son, do not associate anyone with Allah.
03:15He said, this is a great injustice.
03:18So, first of all, he said,
03:20O my son, do not associate anyone with Allah.
03:24Secondly, he said,
03:26O my son, obey your parents,
03:28be thankful to Allah,
03:30and be thankful to your parents.
03:32And keep this in your mind,
03:35that the power of Allah,
03:38your faith should be firm upon that.
03:48O my son, do not associate anyone with Allah.
03:51There is no equal to Allah.
03:53Whether it is in the mountains,
03:55on the earth, or in the sky.
03:57O my son, first of all,
03:59your faith should be firm upon that.
04:01That Allah will bring him back.
04:03This is the upbringing of a child.
04:05He is being saved from Shirk.
04:07His faith is being firm upon Allah.
04:10How should your faith be firm upon Allah?
04:13After that, he said,
04:16O my son, keep on praying,
04:20and keep on ordering goodness,
04:22and keep on doing good,
04:24and keep on saving people from evil,
04:26and keep on saving yourself as well.
04:28But remember this,
04:29that when you do good,
04:31and order goodness,
04:33then the return will be very harsh.
04:36He said,
04:37you will have to be patient upon this.
04:40This is the work of those who are determined.
04:44After this, in terms of morals,
04:46Hakeem Luqman said to his son,
04:48O my son,
04:49when you live among the public,
04:52do not show arrogance.
04:54There should be no arrogance in your actions.
05:04He said,
05:05do not show your face to people.
05:07They say,
05:08he has shown his face to people.
05:10He said,
05:11do not show your face to people.
05:13He said,
05:14do not show your face to people.
05:16My son,
05:17Allah does not like those who show arrogance.
05:20He does not like those who show arrogance and pride.
05:23In the end,
05:24he said,
05:25O my son,
05:26your life,
05:27your life,
05:28you should keep a balance in it.
05:30In your spending,
05:31in your words,
05:32in your actions,
05:33in everything,
05:34there should be a balance.

09:17are like this.
09:18The class is different.

09:24sit with such children.
09:25The status people,
09:26are giving ice,
09:27to your children.
09:28The status people,
09:29are giving,
09:30cocaine,
09:31to your children,

09:33what all addictions,

11:50as a role model.

11:53seen her mother,
11:54scolding her grandmother,
11:55that her house,
11:56is being destroyed.

11:59in the newspapers,

12:01the distribution,
12:02of ordinary property,
12:03the brothers,

12:14forgive us,
12:15even kills the father.

12:20not giving,
12:21proper upbringing,
12:22to the children,
12:23that they did not,
12:24know,
12:25the importance,
12:26of their,
12:27childhood.
12:28The children,
12:29were left,
12:30on these paths,

12:32the parents,
12:33start getting,
12:34upset,
12:35because they are,
12:36not able to face,
12:37anyone.

12:40problem is,

12:42social media.

13:13more than 70% of children under the age of 10
13:16were affected by the use of mobile phones.
13:19And this is not the only problem.
13:21Because of this, there is a moral decline.
13:24There are reels in which children see
13:27and try to follow it by making it ideal.
13:31They neither stay here nor there.
13:33A recent documentary has shown
13:35that the state of children is such
13:37that the way they get rid of addiction,
13:39they become helpless.
13:41When a child is given a mobile phone
13:43which is a habit of mothers,
13:45their condition becomes such
13:47that they want to get a mobile phone in any way.
13:50In the documentary,
13:52the mother snatched the phone
13:54and the child went to another room.
13:57He brought his bat
13:59and hit his mother on the head.
14:01So imagine,
14:02there is a loss in every way
14:04due to lack of education.
14:06And these are worldly losses.

14:12that every person is a scholar
14:14and he will be asked about his responsibilities.
14:16So we should be afraid of Allah.
14:18And for that, we should acquire knowledge
14:20and then try to act on that knowledge.

14:24And the way social media is creating
14:26frustration in children,
14:28creating extremism,
14:30and creating such a hypocrisy
14:32that they are not even capable
14:34of coming under the control
14:36of their parents and society.
14:38We are seeing a very big loss.
14:40But if you are close to the scholars
14:42of the Quran and Hadith,
14:44it will definitely be better
