00:15So now he's hooked onto something and what they generally do is do that until they let

00:37So as you would probably know, these are highly venomous.

00:41So it's a good thing to get him out of your garden, that's for sure.

00:44This is perfect habitat for them, so there is a possibility that you'll get another snake

00:48here, but just because we've caught one brown snake doesn't mean that there's going to be

00:52more brown snakes or anything like that.

00:57He's quite relaxed, isn't he?

01:07He's a beautiful snake.

01:10See those classic orange spots on his belly there?

01:12So that's how you can tell a brown snake from any other snake.

01:16They'll quite often get up in an S position in a defensive posture.

01:21So you'll just take him somewhere?

01:24Yeah.

01:26Just go find a nice patch of bush away from people.

01:30The snake is secure and can now be released back into the wild.

01:37Alright, this looks like a great spot just up here.

01:40Not too worked up.

01:42This patch of bushland is miles away from Megan's property and popular residential suburbs.

01:49So just be ready, okay?

01:50Because if he's a bit hot, the day's got a lot warmer.
