This short film follows my 70yearold father as he finally fulfilled his lifelong dream a solo journey around the world departing from Japan and heading toward New York. With little experience in international travel and no fluency in foreign languages our family was worried about his adventure. However the photos he sent from his journey were not filled with fear but with excitement and a sense of adventure. This film was created using AI technology to transform the photos he sent into a moving visual journey. Through this journey I came to realize that it is never too late to step into the unknown. For privacy reasons the faces of people other than my father have been altered using AI.
