01:03India's PRS citizenship is not granted and there is more strict supervision in this compared to America's new scheme.

01:13India's PRS scheme gives foreign investors the option to stay in India for a long time.
01:19Indian citizenship is not obtained from the PRS scheme started in 2016
01:23and according to the Government's Information Invest India,
01:26a foreign investor has to bring at least 1.1 million dollars, i.e. 10 crore rupees in 18 months through the FDI of the current foreign investment through the PRS scheme,
01:38or about 2.8 million dollars, i.e. 25 crore rupees within 36 months.
01:43This investment should create employment for at least 20 Indians every year.
01:48After this, the person will be given a B1 visa.
01:52And,
01:52a person will not require registration with the related foreign registration authority, i.e. FRRO.
02:02Once the conditions of investment and employment are met,
02:05they can apply for online PRS through FRRO.
02:09PRS Dharko has permission to buy a house for personal use
02:13and has been given leave in the general minimum salary requirements for foreign employment in India.
02:20The investor's life partner and dependency is also granted a B1X visa,
02:25which is attached to the investor's business visa on equal terms.
02:30The B1X visa allows them to work in India's private sector or study without a separate visa.
02:37The main difference between the US and Indian programs is that the US Gold Card increases the possibility of becoming an American citizen of investors,
02:45while India's PRS grants only 10-year long-term residence,
02:50which has the option of renewing for another 10 years.
02:54According to Invest India, this is a multiple-entry visa.
02:57However, India's PRS has strict conditions, such as investors will have to create employment,
03:02and in this scheme, Pakistani citizens or people of Pakistani origin are not included.
03:07That is, Pakistanis cannot take advantage of this.
03:09On the other hand, America's scheme can be open to all rich investors,
03:13although some can be done after the announcement of restrictions.
