Lucid Group CEO Peter Rawlinson has stepped down as the electric vehicle maker aims to more than double production units this year. Chief Operating Officer Marc Winterhoff will serve as interim CEO, and Rawlinson will remain a strategic technical advisor. His departure follows the launch of Lucid’s Gravity SUV and comes after 12 years with the company. Lucid reported a quarterly net loss in the fourth quarter but exceeded analyst revenue and earnings expectations. Shares rose 8% in after-hours trading.
