00:00Hello and welcome to What's On in Wigan. Start St Patrick's Day celebrations early at Wigan St
00:06Pat's on Saturday March 15th. There will be a full day of rugby with open age and women's games
00:15as well as live music and lots more throughout the day and it starts at 9am.
00:20Get ready for a night of glitz and glamour and giving back in support of Wigan Youth Zone.
00:26They're going retro and bringing back the best tv show stars in your eyes and so join them for an
00:31unforgettable evening full of live entertainment, delicious food and dancing all in support of the
00:36incredible young people. It takes place at the Brick Community Stadium on March 15th and ticket
00:43details are available online. The Roman Wigan Festival is returning to Wigan Town Centre on
00:49Sunday March 16th. Organised by the charity Joining Jack there will be a half marathon,
00:54a 5k and a family mile. The half marathon starts at 9.30am followed by the 5k at 10.15am
01:02and the family mile at 1pm. Details are available online if you want to register.
01:09And finally celebrate the beauty of spring with the Hands on Spring Vials workshop.
01:14In the relaxing and creative session you'll learn how to design a stunning fresh flower
01:19arrangement and use seasonal blooms all carefully curated to capture the essence of spring.
01:24Guided by the expert florist you'll explore techniques for building shape, balance and
01:28texture in the vials ensuring a professional and elegant finish.
01:32This event takes place at the Post House in Arles on Sunday March 16th.
