00:22Thank you for your patience with me as I took some time away before I jump into this one
00:27because I have some beauty friends here that are really helping me through a difficult
00:31time.
00:32I just want to say, I kind of can't go any further without saying that it was such a
00:39shock that Occy, my best mate, my family, my main companion through the last 14 years
00:46and my entire adult life passed away last week.
00:51And I'm still coming to terms with that and I miss him so much, but I am also just so
00:56grateful for him and the life we got to live together, the time we got to spend together
01:02and the grief of losing him is far outweighed by the joy he brought me and he was able to
01:10bring all of you.
01:11So I want to just quickly say thank you for loving Occy.
01:16Thank you for your support when I shared the news of his passing.
01:20He was the most loved dog in the world and he was one in a million and there's never
01:25going to be another Occy, but I'm never going to forget him.
01:28Honestly, I'm going to find this a bit tricky, this one, because it's my first video filming
01:32since then, but I don't think it's going to get any easier and I just want to say, yeah,
01:38thank you for the support.
01:39I have had some beautiful support here on the property when it happened.
01:43I'm so grateful to have Kendall and Glenn and Leo with me and then also Grace and she's
01:49moving up really soon, which I'm also cannot wait for and it's really, it has cushioned
01:55the loss of Occy and a few people pointed out that Occy waited to leave until I was
02:01surrounded by loved ones and that's, that's really true.
02:04He was always looking out for me and he did right until the end, so I wouldn't change
02:09anything and I, I just, yeah, I miss the big guy.
02:15But a lot of big changes have happened on the property and there's a lot going on.
02:19I have a couple of Canadian friends here, you might know them, and it's about time they
02:24got initiated into this commune, I think.
02:26So let's go grab them, see what their first thoughts of the commune have been.

17:47to have somewhere with space to like just go and wander around on the grass and lie down in the sun
17:52and there's some favorite spots oh yeah he actually he fell asleep under here a couple of times
17:58but then he loved going down there's this like huge birds of paradise um tree plant thing it's
18:05cool yeah but he'd burrow under there it's real shady all the time are you getting ready in there

19:34no longer with us so he kind of understood where his buddy's gone and
19:38yeah it's been really sweet seeing him visit after that we forgot one of our workers huh

22:59butter smooth uh we also worked out the chain situation we got rid of a lot of slack on the
23:04bucket and that makes it a lot easier to hook up and i think the excavator has quite a bit more pull
23:09when it's lower so it's not like trying to pull back like that so we've got a bit of a level bubble

26:15it's going to be a really beautiful tribute today honestly i'm feeling pretty good it's so nice
26:22being surrounded by friends and just getting all that love and everything and the compassion from
26:27them is helping me kind of push push through this hard part of the grieving journey and just
26:33remembering all the good times of ok we had some really nice chat about memories of ok last night
26:38and yeah he was just the best i wanted to say because this is my first video proper video back
26:43for the year that i have still have a lot of fun plans for the year last year was pretty heavy
26:48duty on the indoor projects getting the house ready for guests but also for grace moving up
26:53so that bathroom took up a lot of work the deck and everything whereas this year i want to just
26:58do some stuff that's a little bit out there a little bit different as well as some big ones
27:02like get the shed organized we're starting to plan an extension and on top of that i think it's time
27:09for a little bit more overseas travel a bit more beach camping with four wheel drive maybe some
27:13surfing and um yeah i just i want to live in oki's memory and just just do the good stuff this year
27:21i think so hopefully you guys are keen for that looks like it's healed great yeah it's easy peasy
