00:00Let's take a look at the colorful and joyful lights of the highlights of the Baguio City Festival this weekend.

00:09In particular, the beautiful float parade that is really loved by tourists.

00:16Audrey Villana of PTV Cordillera in the center of the news.

00:21Session Road and Harrison Road of Baguio City was once again lit up because of the colorful street dance and grand float parade of the 29th Panagbunga Flower Festival.

00:32In the Drum and Lair Elementary Competition, five teams competed, seven groups in the festival dance category.

00:39El Tribo de Luqban of Luqban Elementary School was once again the champion and received Php 150,000.

00:46It also won Best in Costumes and Props.

00:50First runner-up and Best in Music Award was Mabini Elementary School.

00:54Their prize was Php 100,000.

00:57Second runner-up and Best in Choreography was Tuba Central School which received Php 70,000.

01:05St. Louis University was the first in the festival dance category which received Php 200,000.

01:12First runner-up was Bibyun Lubuagan of Calinga which received Php 100,000.

01:18While Php 70,000 was received by the second runner-up group of Tawid Abalitok of La Union.

01:34The achievement of our team blossoms beyond boundaries.

01:39The local government of Baguio City is happy with the number of participants from other localities.

01:45We're looking at the possibility of inviting more participants from the other municipalities, not only in Forteliera.

01:53Meanwhile, 44 beautiful and colorful floats were captured by the Samut Saring Bulaklak.

02:01This was a record-breaking from the 33 floats last year.

02:05There were floats designed by Paro-Paro, Strawberries, Bangka, Superheroes, and others.

02:13The public watched the artists and beauty queens riding the floats.

02:18The 2025 Super Election Year Float of Comelec was also watched by Comelec Chairperson George Erwin Garcia.

02:26British Ambassador to the Philippines and Palau Lor Bofis also served as a guest.

02:31She was happy with the achievements of the rich culture and tradition of Baguio City.

02:37For me, this theme speaks about three things.

02:41It speaks about inclusivity, it speaks about sustainability, and it speaks about a global community.

02:52All of the values, indeed, all of the themes that we as the UK share with the City of Baguio and with this festival today.

03:04After the two major highlights of the Super Election Year Float, Session Road in Bloom opened with different products from all over the country.

03:13The Super Election Year Float will end on March 2, 2025.
