00:00In the past 8 months, my government has taken significant strides in getting the state back
00:07on track from the previous misrobe and misgovernance towards the path of development through an
00:16accountable and good governance.
00:19We have revived 74 out of 93 currently central sponsored schemes which were sponsored by
00:28previous regime by clearing liabilities of 9,371 crores.
00:36This has triggered further releases from the government of India for the current and future
00:42years.
00:43To revive the economic activity and rebuild confidence on brand Andhra Pradesh, we have
00:50cleared bills of rupees 10,125 crores relating to irrigation, roads and other works.
01:01We have strengthened the local governance by releasing long-standing liabilities of
01:08rupees 2,488 crores of finance commission aid grants.
01:17We have laid a strong foundation by launching 22 new policies that will drive sustained
01:25growth and prosperity.
01:27I am proud to share that our efforts are already showing results.
01:31We are attracting global giants like Google, ArcelorMittal, Steel Company, Tata Power,
01:41Grenco Group, BPCL, DCL and others with massive investments.
01:47To date, investors have pledged investment of rupees 6.5 lakh crore with an employment
01:53potential of 4 lakh jobs.
01:56As per the first advance estimates for 2024-25, Andhra Pradesh economy has expanded to rupees
02:0416 lakh crore up from 14.22 lakh crore last year.
02:09Our per capita income has also increased to rupees 2.6 lakh crore up from 2.3 lakh
02:16crore in the previous year.
02:18This progress is powered by strong performances across all key sectors.
02:24As the great social reformer, late Kandukuri Veera Salignam garu had said,
02:31avakashalu ishte prathi manishilo methi naipunyam velu gunduntundi
02:38means given opportunities, excellence shines forth in every individual.
02:44My government is now embarking on this pioneering journey towards Swarna Andhra at 2047.
02:51My government is committed to provide permanent houses to all the eligible households in the
02:57state by the end of 2029 in a saturation mode, duly providing house sites wherever
03:04required in the name of housing for all.
03:07During the last eight months, 1.14 lakh houses were completed under PMEI Urban BLC, 76,585
03:20houses, PMEI Grameen, 37,746 houses and PM Janman 305 houses at an expenditure of rupees
03:32642.38 crore was incurred.
03:36The government is committed to ensuring that every household has access to a house site,
03:42a pakka house, a toilet, clean water, cooking gas, electricity and even a solar roof for
03:51sustainable energy.
03:53We are actively working to complete 6.34 lakh pending houses while providing land 3 cents
04:00in rural areas and 2 cents in urban areas to our landless families.
04:05By the end of first year of our government, we will be completing 4 to 5 lakh of houses
04:11for urban and rural poor.
04:14The strength of Andhra Pradesh lies not just in its policies and projects but in its people,
04:21their resilience, determination and spirit of innovation.
04:26The road ahead is full of opportunities and it is up to each one of us to seize them.
04:33This is our moment.
04:35The time to act is now.
04:37Let us work together, build together and rise together, ensuring that Andhra Pradesh stands
04:46tall as a beacon of development not just for India but for the world.
