00:00Happy weekend to all of us, I'm Benison Estareja.
00:05The strong North-East wind is still blowing in a large part of Luzon.
00:11It's still bringing a cold temperature, especially in the early morning,
00:15accompanied by a weak rain.
00:17While here in Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,
00:20there are still strong rains because of the shear line
00:24or the line where the cold wind and hot Easter biscuits meet.
00:29Please be careful of floods and landslides.
00:32Meanwhile, based on our latest satellite animation,
00:35we have clouds or cloud clusters somewhere here in Mindanao and Palawan.
00:40But none of these are expected to become a storm or low-pressure area
00:44until the end of February.
00:47Today on Saturday, there is still a high chance of a weak to moderate rain
00:52here in the north of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region,
00:57and Aurora province.
00:58It's still an effect of the North-East monsoon or a cold wind.
01:02Here in the southern part of Luzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region,
01:06Quezon, Batangas, and Laguna,
01:09there is also a high chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms.
01:13It's still a shear line or the line of hot and cold winds.
01:17Please be careful of floods and landslides.
01:21Here in Metro Manila, rest of Calabarzon and Central Luzon,
01:24and Ilocos Region, there are still fair weather conditions or partly cloudy.
01:29And there are sunny days until the afternoon.
01:32And by the afternoon, the sky is usually cloudy in some areas
01:35and there is a small chance of a weak rain.
01:39Here in Metro Manila, the temperature is from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
01:43While in Baguio City, where there is a chance of rain
01:47following the Panagbanga Festival,
01:49there is a small chance of rain until the evening.
01:53And there are possible same weather conditions until tomorrow and Monday.
01:58To our countrymen in Palawan and a large part of Visayas,
02:02please bring an umbrella if you need to leave the house
02:05because the rainy season will continue.
02:07There will also be thunderstorms.
02:09It's still a shear line.
02:11Especially here in the middle and eastern part of Palawan,
02:15Aklan, Capiz, and a large part of eastern Visayas,
02:18it's still possible for rain to reach between 50 to 100 millimeters.
02:23Please be careful of flood and landslides
02:26and please always follow our heavy rainfall warnings and rainfall advisories.
02:31The temperature here in Metro Cebu is from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:36And to our countrymen in Mindanao,
02:38there is a high chance of rain in Zamboanga Peninsula,
02:41Northern Mindanao, Caraga Region, Davao Region, and other provinces of Basilan,
02:46Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi for today.
02:48It's also a shear line effect.
02:50Sometimes, it rains heavily, especially in areas of Dinagat Islands and Surigao Provinces.
02:56Please be careful of flood and landslides.
02:58And please always follow our heavy rainfall warnings and rainfall advisories.
03:01Here in the remaining part of Bangsamoro Region,
03:04plus a large part of Soxargen,
03:06as early as this morning, there are chances of rain.
03:09But it won't continue.
03:10We'll just expect isolated rains or thunderstorms for the rest of the day.
03:15Our temperature in Zamboanga City and Davao City is up to 32 degrees when it reaches noon.
03:22For now, we don't have a high gale warning.
03:26But it's still expected that the waves will play between 3 to 4 meters
03:30in the extreme northern Luzon and in the coastal towns of Luzon.
03:34It's still a bit dangerous, especially for small sea vessels and for our fishermen.
03:39For the rest of Luzon, as well as Eastern Visayas and Eastern Mindanao,
03:43the waves will play between 1.5 to 3 meters.
03:48While here in the coastal towns of Visayas and Mindanao,
03:51the waves are expected to be moderate.
03:54And as early as Sunday evening until the early hours of Monday,
03:57it's possible for us to raise the gale warning here in the extreme northern Luzon.
04:01And from Monday to Tuesday, it's also possible for the rest of Luzon.
04:07And for our four-day weather forecast,
04:10Sunday to Monday, the chances of rain will still be high
04:14because of the shear line over Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Quezon Province,
04:19a large part of Visayas, Caraga Region, and Davao Oriental,
04:22as well as nearby areas in Davao Region.
04:25Be careful of the rains.
04:28It's still possible for floods and landslides to occur.
04:31And sometimes, it gets stronger, especially in Eastern Visayas and Caraga Region.
04:35Meanwhile, there's still a chance of light rain here in the northern part of Luzon,
04:39especially in Cagayan Valley and Aurora.
04:41It's still likely to be windy.
04:43For the rest of Mindanao, there are isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
04:47As for Tuesday to Wednesday, that's February 25 and 26,
04:51it will continue to rain, but the areas where it will rain will be lower.
04:56As for the southern portion of Palawan,
04:58it's already focused here in the northern part of Mindanao,
05:01Caraga Region, Northern Mindanao, and nearby areas.
05:05Be careful of floods and landslides.
05:08The northeastern part of Luzon will get stronger.
05:10Some areas here in the northern part of Visayas
05:14will experience lower temperatures,
05:16even though there's still a chance of light rain here in the eastern part of Luzon
05:20and some areas here in the eastern part of Visayas,
05:23Aklan, Capiz, Bicol, and Mimaropa will only experience light rain.
