00:00But you're liking the Buffalo Sabres versus your New York Rangers tomorrow.
00:04So they're coming in at plus 100 on the money line.
00:06Do you think they have to win that in a higher scoring game, Tom, or do you think they can
00:09really lock down tomorrow?
00:12So I mean, the Sabres haven't been good on defense for the majority of the season.
00:15I think everyone knows that.
00:16But the Rangers, the struggles that they've had are apparent on offense and defense.
00:20And you can say that they were improving, especially in January, they were much better
00:23than they were in November and December, especially December.
00:26It was a terrible month for them.
00:28But just given the fact that Trocek, Miller, Kreider, Fox, and Managed, their main players
00:35who all haven't been great, especially as Managed and Kreider, their main quote-unquote
00:39offensive players haven't been great.
00:40And now they have these extra games, maybe a little bit more tired.
00:43I think we could see the Sabres win this game 3-1, 4-2.
00:47So I'm not really interested in the total.
00:49I would certainly side with the under just because I think the Rangers will come out
00:52slow.
00:53And I think the Sabres come away with this win.
00:55I think there's gonna be a lack of shots from the Rangers.
00:58I think the Sabres will try to pour things on because there's gonna be some tired legs
01:01out there, especially if the Rangers take some penalty killers, JT Miller, Chris Kreider,
01:05and Vinny Trocek are their main penalty killers.
01:08And they're gonna be out there a step slow, Paige Thompson, Dylan Cousins, I know he hasn't
01:11been great this year, Paterka, like they will pile up the shots against the Rangers.
01:15Oh, they absolutely will.
01:17And the Buffalo Sabres have been one of those teams that are strong in that first period.
01:22I would look for them to come out nice and strong, be able to put the puck in the back
01:26of the net right away to start off this game and take the first period.
01:29You can look at them first period, money line or old puck line, I would even do laying the
01:33half a goal.
01:34Now, looking at the Washington Capitals versus the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Washington Capitals,
01:38Ovechkin, how do you think Ovechkin feels not being included, not having a team Russia
01:43out there and no one else on this team being included?
01:47Are you looking for the Capitals to roll hot?
01:50We know how strong this team has been to start the season, Tom.
01:54You know, I think Ovechkin probably loves the rest at this point in his career, especially
01:58after the leg injury he had just a month or so ago.
02:02So maybe a little bit disappointed that he wasn't there, but the rest is certainly great
02:05for him.
02:06As you mentioned, there was not a single capitalist player on any of the four rosters, so they
02:09are fully rested, fully ready to go.
02:12And they're just so much better than the Penguins.
02:14So I love the Capitals on the three-way money line, fully rested, ready to go.
02:18You know, there's some reports that Crosby's dealing with a bit of an elbow issue.
02:22Malkin should be back in line for the Penguins, but the Penguins just don't have it.
02:25It's all about the Capitals on the three-way money line coming in at minus 110.
02:29OK, Tom, does Ove reach Wayne Gretzky's record?
02:34Absolutely.
02:35He will get it done.
02:36They'll give him the extra shots.
