The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has imposed a new spending limit on most government-issued credit cards at just $1, according to WIRED. The policy has already come into effect at the General Services Administration (GSA) and at least three more agencies, including the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Sources consulted by WIRED say that the limit will soon be implemented across all federal agencies.
