00:00It's my last day in Miami.
00:28My flight is tonight.
00:29At 7pm it was the only direct flight I could get back so I wanted to have a relaxed morning,
00:36work from here so I could take the direct flight instead of the layover just to save

00:42I just got out of my Alive product call so every Monday I meet with my chief product
00:47officer and our development team, go over everything that's currently in development.
00:52That's going to take a few months because that's just the name of the game.
00:55I'm very excited because our biggest challenge that we have faced is how do we take form
01:00tips and my Mic'd Up content that's super informative.
01:05It's been the most challenging developmental process and I think we finally have it.
01:11So I'm going to show it to you and if any of our competitors copy it, I'll know you
01:15copied it.

01:21So basically this is a workout starting and then you have a leg press and if you want

01:42I had the most amazing weekend, I will tell you more about it, but here's what we're working

02:11We have a lot to pack up and I don't know where it's all going to go, but I thought
02:15we could do a little get ready.

02:20This may seem silly, but when I put together a photo dump on Instagram from the weekend,
02:25I put so much love into it, you know, so I just got up my photo dump of the trip.

02:52And then I showed you guys my last vlog, the cutest birthday cake I've ever been gifted.
02:57If you've never been to a Gymshark lift event, they are one of the most fun, energetic, amazing
03:04events ever to attend.
03:06Like I don't even know how to describe what goes down, but essentially it's a community
03:11meetup where there's food trucks, lifting, workout classes.
03:16There's a whole outdoor gym.
03:18There's like a DJ.
03:19I get to meet all my girls, which is my personal favorite part.
03:23I've kind of talked about this before, but I am literally just a girl, you know, like
03:28I am the most normal girl there.
03:31I do not feel, I'm trying not to speak ill on myself.
03:37I just am so grateful.
03:39When I started posting on YouTube in 2016, January, 2016, is when I finally like made
03:45the decision to be consistent with it.
03:47I had just moved to a new city and I had nobody.
03:51I was just really struggling.
03:52I had just graduated from college.
03:54I had gotten my first full-time job and I was so miserable at it and YouTube was a way
03:59for me to, I don't know, feel less lonely.
04:03Okay, why am I crying?
04:06I think YouTube's a very vulnerable place to be.
04:09It's scary putting your life online because you're met with a lot of criticism, but then
04:13you're met with, if you're lucky, the most amazing community of women and that is what
04:20we have built here.
04:22And when I go to these events, I'm given the opportunity to meet so many of the amazing
04:28women that allow me to do this because if there was no you and your love and your kindness
04:37and your support over so many years through my highest highs and my lowest lows, you've
04:42stuck beside me and you've given me this opportunity and I never, ever, ever, ever want you to
04:47ever think I would ever take that for granted.
04:49Like I am so grateful.
04:51I don't know why I'm crying.
04:52It's just, I spent the last two days meeting so many of you, of the amazing women that
04:58support me and allow me to do this and I am just so grateful.
05:02I love you guys so much.
05:03I can't even express what you've done for me in my mental health and to meet you and
05:11to hear your stories and put a face to the usernames and a face to the amazing women
05:17who support me and are in my comments, like I see you every day.
05:20I think you guys know I go above and beyond to make sure you feel seen and heard in my
05:25comment section, whether that's on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram.
05:28I am there every post every day because I want you to know how grateful I am.
05:34So if that's liking your comment or responding, like it is so important to me to respond to
05:40the amazing women who support me and these last two days, like really makes it feel so
05:45real because I'm just sitting here in this empty room all alone and yeah, I'm probably
05:51going a little stir crazy.
05:52I haven't left in like 12 hours, but you know, I spent the last two days just spending so
05:58much time with you and getting to hear your stories and you guys have impacted my life
06:04so much and I'm just so beyond grateful.
06:07So thank you for coming to the event this weekend and thank you for taking the time
06:11out of your schedule to come and say hi to me.
06:15It is the brightest, happiest time of my life.
06:20To be able to be in the fitness industry for so long is truly an honor.
06:27I get to these events and so many of the Gymshark athletes have come and they've gone and they've

08:31She is brilliant, is so beautiful, and her first program launch ever is now live.
08:39I am so proud of this girl, and I'm so honored to have her on the Alive team.
08:43It has always been my mission to build this really strong repertoire of brilliant, amazing
08:51Alive Trainers that all bring something new and unique to the app.
08:56The way that the four of us train is completely different.
09:01You really see that through our content and through our programming, and so I'm so honored
09:06to have Marissa on.
09:07We decided to name her program Elevate.

09:10Elevate Your Strength.

09:13You know, I love my program names to be able to pertain to both mental and physical wellness.
09:18You are going to love her program.
09:20It is a gym-based program.
09:22We have three difficulties, beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and then also the choice of
09:26three, four, or five workouts per week, which is insane.
09:30The options, the customization, every exercise has an exercise alternative.
09:37You don't want to do a barbell RDL, swap it out.
09:39The Smith machine is taken, reorder your workout.
09:42This has been in the works forever.
09:43We signed her, oh my gosh, over a year ago now.
09:47We filmed her in September, and now it's February, and we are launching her.
09:52That is how long this process takes, because think about it.
09:56We have to take Marissa's program that has been thoroughly perfected, written, and reviewed
10:04a million and 10 times.
10:05It is approved and reviewed by our expert senior trainer, Justin Olson, who either writes
10:11or reviews every single workout that goes into the app with the Alive trainers.
10:16We have to take that and place it into the backend.
10:19When we place it in the backend, we have to put in these individual workouts.
10:23If we have a nine-week program, a three-block, nine-week program, three difficulties with
10:29three, four, and five-day workout options, every single one of those has to be put in
10:34individually.
10:35Plus, we have to go in and add our custom warm-ups and cool-downs, our mobility routines.
10:42We have to make sure that the rest days are aligned, everything is perfect.
10:46Then we have to take every single one of those exercises and upload Marissa's workout
10:50video.
10:51It is quite a lengthy process.
10:53There's a lot of developmental work, and then there's also a lot of work from the trainers
10:57to get this program written, perfected, and in the backend.
11:01It takes a lot of work and a lot of time, but that also goes to show that we are always
11:06working on something.
11:11More things are coming.
