00:00Uh, here is, uh, Brandon Hagel, of course, uh, talking about, uh, the fight that he had
00:07with Matty Kachup.
00:08No, I think it's going to be the same way.
00:10I think, uh, it's two countries, um, I mean, listen, what happened, what happened the other
00:17night?
00:18Um, I think I did it for the flag and, uh, not for the cameras.
00:24Okay.
00:25Uh, yeah.
00:26Yeah.
00:27Um, and then here's Matty Kachup, what he thinks of, uh, Hagel.
00:31I mean, maybe their team doesn't like each other then if they don't have group chats,
00:35but, uh, um, you know, I think that, uh, that's, uh, that's just a player, you know, enjoying
00:42this opportunity.
00:43So, um, I think that our team does not care about anything that they say, and there's
00:48been a lot of chatter and talk from individuals, but, you know, we care about one thing in
00:53this room and we have millions of people that are watching us and supporting us around
00:58this country.
00:59And we're very prideful and playing for them and the guys in the room.
01:02So, um, it's an opportunity of a lifetime for us.
01:06Let's just get real here.
01:08Uh, if you lose, uh, it's going to suck.
01:11Yeah.
01:12More than that, Scott.
01:13And I'll tell you, I got to give Hagel respect though.
01:16This guy and you know, Lightning and Panther, Bernstein, I'll tell you, these guys hate
01:19each other, like Leafs Canadians and Leafs Bruins type of thing.
01:22You know, uh, the rivalries too, like it's one of those situations where Hagel's not
01:27even a fighter and he stepped up and he fought.
01:29That's how much this tournament means to these guys right now.
01:31I don't think we're going to see like shenanigans off the top, like three fights in nine seconds,
01:35but I'm going to tell you, Scott, I can't wait for this game.
01:37Like to the anticipation of this thing.
01:39And Marinci was on earlier and he was right.
01:41If Canada loses this game tonight, there's a serious problem.
01:44They've already didn't go far in the juniors.
01:46There's a lot of things.
01:47Everybody's catching up, like even on the women's side.
01:49So USA wins tonight.
01:50Like it's going to be very, very bad.
01:52The prime minister is going to have to do damage control.
01:54There's going to be a lot of anger.
01:55Yeah.
01:56Damage control.
01:57The bars will be empty and they'll be sad.
02:02Win or lose, hit the booze, but hey, Vancouver, remember they burned down the city.
02:07Like if Canada loses tonight, I don't know.
02:09Yeah.
02:10That's not cool though.
02:11Like how much of a fool do you have to be to lose?
02:16I get it.
02:17Losing sucks.
02:18I've lost a lot of championship games.
02:20It sucks.
02:22I get it.
02:23It's torture.
02:24But I have never once in my life, I've lost all kinds of title games in basketball.
02:28I've never once gone out, start setting everything on fire.
02:33Like what is wrong with you?
02:36They did that in Vancouver.
02:37It was embarrassing.
02:39I was there.
02:40I was there.
02:41I was covering it for the score.
02:42We were doing journey to the Stanley cup and I was in right in the middle of that riot.
02:45And Marencio will tell you about it too.
02:47It was absolutely madness insane.
02:49Like we thought we could have died.
02:50It was, it got stupid.
02:52So I'm going to tell you this.
02:53I've always respected the fact that, you know, you don't talk to your best friend in a tournament
02:56at the end, you can go and have a cold beer.
02:58That's what it's all about.
03:00Let's just leave it on the ice.
03:01No friendship and whatever happens at the end, make the better team win should be a
03:04great game tonight.
03:05Well, in the Stanley cup playoffs, everybody shakes hands after the series ends.
03:11Why, why would you as fans go out and destroy the city that you live in and that you love?
03:17It makes zero sense to me.
