00:53The Pope is receiving treatment at Rome's Gemelli Hospital, where he was admitted on
00:57February 14, after experiencing breathing difficulties for several days.
01:02Meantime, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited the Pope in the hospital and said
01:07he is alert and cheerful.
01:09Meloni says, quote, I am very happy to have found him alert and responsive.
01:14We joke, as always.
01:15He hasn't lost his proverbial sense of humor.
01:18Meloni is the first known hospital visitor of the Pope.
01:22A Vatican official speaking anonymously says the Pope was not on a ventilator and was breathing
01:26on his own.
01:28The official also says the Pope had been able to get out of bed, sit in an armchair, and
01:32continue with some work.
01:37A video message from alleged human trafficker and senatorial candidate Apollo Kibuloy is
01:41played during a gathering of his Kingdom of Jesus Christ supporters without court approval.
01:46Pasig City Court Presiding Judge Reynelda Estacio Montesa issues a show-cause order
01:51against Kibuloy and his lawyer, Israelito Torreon.
01:55Montesa says the court learned that Kibuloy's video was aired during a February 9 KOJC gathering
02:00and posted on SMNI's Facebook page the next day.
