00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD, assured that the new unified PWID system
00:07will prevent the forgery of PWIDs. DSWD Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Irene Dumlao explained
00:15that the department will now be central authority for issuing physical and digital IDs, replacing
00:22the previous manual process managed by local governments. Dumlao also expressed appreciation
00:29to President Marcos Junior's recognition of DSWD's efforts, especially during disasters.
00:36She emphasized that a new PWID ID, which includes RFID and QR code,
