00:00A former police officer was found dead in Caloocan,

00:04a suspect in the shooting at Cavite.

00:06This is John Consulta, Exclusive.

00:13The area of Caloocan City was under tension this Monday

00:19when a former police officer was shot dead

00:22by the people of Cavite PTO and Tanza Police.

00:25In the CCTV footage,

00:27the suspect ran away in a black car

00:30and went back to where his gun and bullets were.

00:33That's where he was cornered.

00:35After the shooting,

00:37our suspect was cornered.

00:40He surrendered there.

00:42We recovered an Ingram,

00:44a 9mm,

00:46a replica of an M16 firearm

00:50and a grenade.

00:52He was a former police officer assigned to the NCRPU

00:55and he was dismissed in 2019.

00:59The man was cornered by the Cavite Police

01:01because he was a suspect in the first shooting

01:03at Tanza Cavite last Sunday.

01:05In the CCTV footage,

01:07the suspect fired a gun at the victim

01:09and his wife

01:11as they entered the garage.

01:13One was killed and the other was injured.

01:16The CCTV footage showed

01:18that they used backtracking

01:20to target the suspect in the garage.

01:22We collected the CCTV footage

01:26from the garage

01:28until they left Cavite.

01:34We saw that these people

01:37were residents of the garage.

01:41The suspect was shot dead

01:43in a car during the shooting.
