00:18Two children were kidnapped in Maypaho, Caloocan City around 11 p.m. yesterday.
00:24The suspect was caught by the people.
00:26He was even helped by the people in a fit of anger.
00:30When he was attacked, the parents also ran away.
00:33There was a commotion outside.
00:36He was beaten, but our people were able to get him to the barangay.
00:41But you know, almost all the people in the town were killed.
00:44Cap added, the children said that the suspect was not alone.
00:49According to the victim, a young man,
00:51the suspect said that there was a woman with him who was pulling on him.
00:54But the child was caught and the woman was immediately taken away.
00:57According to the barangay officer, Mr. Bernie,
01:00the young woman was asking for help to notice that there was a fight.
01:05Even though Mr. Bernie was worried, he approached the child who was running away.
01:10When I approached the man, I said,
01:13why did the child get caught?
01:15He said, this is my child.
01:18We're going home. Why did you get caught?
01:21Then I asked the child, how old is he?
01:25The child told me, he's not that old.
01:29He's not a father. Don't give him to him.
01:32When the child was taken away, he suddenly approached Mr. Bernie.
01:36He was scared and cried that he shouldn't give him to the suspect.
01:40The barangay immediately acted on the situation.
01:43At the moment, the suspect in custody of Caloocan City Police Station
01:46is currently facing attempted kidnapping.
01:49Meanwhile, the victim is currently under counseling.
