The body of a man who went missing while fishing in Sungai Nyigu, Bintulu on Monday (Feb 17) evening has been found.

His body also had several bite marks, believed to be from a crocodile.

00:13A Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the search and rescue team found the
00:18victim, David Gira's body, at 2.32 pm on Tuesday.
00:23The victim was found about 1.8 kilometres downstream from where he left his motorcycle.
00:29It is learned that David had gone fishing near a timber company on Monday evening, and
00:34his wife later filed a police report over his disappearance.
00:38He is feared to have been attacked by a crocodile as bite marks were present on his body.
00:43His family identified him before the body was handed over to the police.
