00:00It's such an epic night to be here. What is it like to be here with your fellow cast members former?
00:05Current what is it like to kind of just be here in this moment? It feels great
00:09It feels great knowing that I'm the best dressed as far as all the men are concerned. Oh, yeah
00:13Yeah, that goes without saying it feels great watching them. Look at me saying damn it. He did it again
00:20But hey, my name is finesse. So, you know, you always got to come with it
00:24the talent the stars the people who are connected to the show
00:30there are people who haven't even
00:32Been a part of the show, but they're here
00:34It feels great that Lauren Michaels has so much reach and knowing that you're under that umbrella
00:39And that you can still call him at any time and he'll take the call
00:43For sure. And was there any advice that Lauren gave you throughout your tenure on the show that really stood out to you?
00:49he said, uh, I
00:53Won't say that one
00:55No, he was like you can be social but if you're social with somebody on the weekend, you might see them at work on Monday
01:03So do you want to be social?
01:05So he gave like real life advice. Lauren is always dropping real-life gems my favorite Lauren advice. He said finesse
01:13When you buy a house make sure
01:16It's a really nice house
01:19So even if you come home and you're all by yourself
01:21You get to look around and say somebody important lives here
01:30Was there a sketch that either you were a part of or that you saw on TV on SNL that you thought wow
01:36I can't believe this is actually making it onto live television. Um, I
01:41Did a Black History Month spec sketch. It's fitting. It's still Black History Month the first black man to say no to direct deposit
01:49We didn't trust it I'll just cash my check
01:53The Debbie Downers and the sketch called cork soakers
01:57but if you say it real fast a lot of times it sounds like something else and
02:01Janet Jackson was the host and so she had trouble saying cork soakers, which was the whole
02:07So it sounded like something else and everybody kept breaking and it was just hilarious
02:12So would you consider that to be like one of your most memorable nights on?
02:17Janet Jackson's night was probably one of the top 10 SNL host and all-around great show
02:24So yes, and when you think about the legacy and the future of SNL
02:29What do you think? Do you think it can carry on for more seasons? I think it's up to Lauren
02:34I think if Lauren wants it to carry on it will if he wants to shut it down
02:38Then it will but 50 years is a good exit. That's a good out
02:43So we'll see if people want to take in, you know, fill his shoes and take his spot, but we'll see
02:49I feel like we're not done just yet. Yeah, we're not done yet. And tonight's gonna be huge
02:53Thank you so much for stopping by. Yeah, for sure. Take care. Thank you
