00:00Hello everyone, my name is Ziying, I am an etiquette and life skills coach and ex-banking
00:11professional. Throughout my time in banking, I realised what sets those apart from the
00:16very top versus the rest is never the technical skills, it's the people skills, communication
00:22skills, social skills, and of course, good manners. And yet, those are not taught enough
00:29in our education system. So after studying at the world's most prestigious finishing
00:34school in Switzerland, I quit my job in banking. I want to combine the traditional etiquette
00:39that I learned in the finishing school and what I learned in the modern day practice
00:43in banking to help people become the best version of themselves, both at personal and
00:49professional level, so that more doors of opportunities will be open to them. Living
00:54in the UAE has completely changed my life. With such a beautiful melting pot of different
01:00cultures, I realised how important it is to understand different cultures to show our
01:05respect and build better relationships with people. So now I teach anything from how to
01:11navigate in a formal dining occasion, how to be a good conversationalist, how to be
01:17a gracious guest and host, how to communicate better at work, and how to navigate different
01:22culture settings with grace. I dream of a world where everyone can be at the best version
01:28of themselves. That world will be very different.
