00:00The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas announced handing over three Israeli detainees as part
00:04of the ceasefire agreement with the Zionist Regime of Israel.
00:08Our collaborator Huda Hegazi brings us more details.
00:18Following stressful days lived by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, after the statement issued
00:25by the spokesperson of the Hamas movement, Abu Abida, who said that the resistance movement
00:30would not release the three Israeli hostages who were planned to be released next Saturday,
00:36February 15, due to the violations of the Israeli regime, as it did not comply with
00:42the humanitarian truce or protocol.
00:44So we can say that today this incident has been sorted out, or at least some part of
00:49it.
00:50Following that statement, the Israeli regime, as well as the United States of America and
00:54its President Donald Trump, threatened that if the Hamas movement does not release the
00:59three Israeli hostages next Saturday at noon, the war on the Gaza Strip will be resumed.
01:09Following Trump's menaces, mediators began to do their work, so they increased their
01:14efforts to try to save the humanitarian truce, which was literally at the edge of collapsing.
01:24Mediators have been holding meetings with the delegation of Hamas leaders, presided
01:28by leader Jalil al-Qaeda, and after all these encounters held in El Cairo, mediators have
01:35come out with a solution so that these meetings have come to fruition.
01:41Mediators have pressed the Hamas movement to release the three Israeli hostages on Saturday.
01:50Likewise, they have provided guarantees to the Hamas movement that they will press the
01:55Israeli regime to make it comply with the truce, that is, Israel must end military aggressions
02:05on the Gaza Strip.
02:07In addition, the regime must be followed and abided by humanitarian protocols, and it must
02:14allow the entrance of humanitarian aid, as well as heavy materials, tents and caravans.
02:22And after mediators' pressure, we have to say that today the Hamas movement and its
02:27military wing, Al-Qaeda Brigades, announced tomorrow, on Saturday, they will carry out
02:33the hostages for prisoner swap, and they revealed that the three Israeli hostages' full names
02:40will be released tomorrow.
02:42It's sad that one of the three hostages has U.S. nationality, while the other has Russian
02:48nationality.
02:49Therefore, we can see how the Hamas movement, after mediators' pressure, is going to comply
02:54with their part of the deal.
02:57Meanwhile, allegedly, the Israeli regime should release over 360 Palestinian prisoners from
03:06the occupation jails.
03:0836 of them are incarcerated Palestinians with life sentences, coming from different Palestinian
03:15areas, either from the occupied territory or the occupied West Bank, and 333 have been
03:23incarcerated Gazans who have been arrested in the Gaza Strip following October 7th.
03:30However, so far there's no certainty that the Israeli regime will comply with this part
03:35of the deal, so that Israel releases the incarcerated Palestinians.
03:40Likewise, lately, the governmental office of media announced that Israel continues not
03:45allowing the entry of heavy material related to tents and even caravans inside the Gaza
03:52Strip.
03:53Therefore, by this statement, we can guess one thing.
03:56What we can guess is that after mediators' pressure, the Hamas movement will abide by
04:01and carry out its part of the deal.
04:04Notwithstanding, the Israeli regime continues violating the deal as it does not allow the
04:09entrance of those materials in the Gaza Strip so far, despite mediators had shown guarantees
04:15assuring the Israeli regime would comply with the deal.
04:20Hence, after this statement issued by the government office of media, the Hamas movement
04:25has ensured in a clear manner that if tomorrow, following the release of hostages, the Israeli
04:31regime keeps up not complying with its part of the deal, not pursuing humanitarian protocols
04:37such as allowing the entrance of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the movement will have
04:42a serious response and the aftermaths will be quite negative and thus, we can say that
04:47even though tomorrow the movement will release the hostages, there is still an active crisis
04:51between the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime and the aftermaths can be very negative.
04:57Between the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime, there is still an active crisis and
05:01the aftermaths can be very negative.
