00:00It was March-April of this year, they contacted Junior Golf Foundation and just wanted to

00:05find out a little bit more about junior golf in Kenya and to see whether this project would

00:10be beneficial for Kenyans and juniors in Kenya.

00:13I jumped at it, I was really excited about it and I sent them all the information about

00:19Junior Golf Foundation and we became one of the beneficiaries, so very excited about that.

00:24Well, I've got 35 schools with 51 sessions a week and 300 golfers that really can't afford

00:30golf balls, so yeah, it's going to be incredible for us. Having a thousand kids on the program,

00:34you know, they do tend to lose balls and need balls and so it's absolutely awesome that we've

00:40got this wonderful container of balls for us. Golf in Kenya is a very expensive sport and we're

00:47trying to make it mainstream, so we're trying to bring it in all the schools, we're trying to make

00:52it a PE subject. One of the things Junior Golf Foundation is doing is we're buying a lot of

00:56equipment for children who cannot afford to play golf to be able to play golf, so this initiative

01:02ties into it because now we have the golf equipment and now we have the golf balls,

01:08which is everything that a child needs to start playing the game without investing anything in

01:12the game. If you're disabled in South Africa, we will subsidize you 100% to play golf. Any

01:18golfer in South Africa that cannot afford to play golf, we've got preferential rates at golf courses,

01:24we've got preferential green fee rates, we have coaching for the golfers, so we've been very

01:30lucky in that if you are disabled in South Africa, you will be able to play golf and golf for them is

01:37therapeutic and really great. We cannot say thank you enough, I mean, I cannot even begin to tell

01:43you how desperate we are for balls and, you know, especially being so far away that they

01:48actually thought about us is also incredible, being at the bottom of the world and not, you know, in

01:52the limelight, so it's really, it's going to help us so much. I mean, I wish you could actually come

01:56to South Africa and see how beneficial it's going to be for our kids. Thank you so much, thank you

02:02for really even thinking about this initiative, about JGF and considering us as one of the

02:09beneficiaries, we are truly, truly blessed and we're truly, truly grateful.
