00:00Starting March 15, the Cashless and Contactless Transaction will be implemented again by the Expressway

00:06following the release of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Toll Regulatory Board.

00:17The Toll Regulatory Board will again implement the Cashless and Contactless Toll Collection

00:22in the Major Expressways starting March 15.

00:26Vehicles without a Valid ETC Device or RFID Sticker will be allowed to enter the Toll Lane or Plaza

00:32and will be given an ETC Device or RFID Sticker.

00:36Now, they will be given by the Land Transportation Office

00:39a Temporary Operator's Permit or SHOCOS Order

00:42for violating the No Valid ETC Device, No Entry Policy.

00:46The entire support of the Expressways in the country

00:51in the implementation of the Cashless and Contactless Toll Collection Policy

00:55following the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2024-001

01:00issued by the Department of Transportation, LTO and LTFRB.

01:05According to the toll concessionaires,

01:07this policy is important to speed up the traffic in the toll plazas

01:11and to ensure the safety of the motorists in the Expressways

01:15who are using the ETC Device or RFID Sticker while 3% are still paying the cash.

01:22Motorists are not allowed to place RFID

01:25because there are installation and loading stations in the Expressways.

01:28Meanwhile, the Department of Public Works and Highways is doing road re-blocking and repair this weekend.

01:34As for the affected roads in Caloocan,

02:05Roads will be reopened at 5 a.m. Monday, February 17.

02:11Motorists are being instructed to use alternative routes to avoid heavy traffic.
