00:00Ruben, Ange Postacoglu has been criticised at times this season for sticking to his principles.
00:06How important is it that as a coach you don't deviate away from your philosophy and do you
00:11admire him for that?
00:12Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Ange Postacoglu. Of course I'm from a different culture, I'm Portuguese
00:19and you know all the Portuguese coaches, they can adapt and I adapt. The simple thing is
00:25that I use one system at the moment because I believe if you work on that system you can
00:32play in different systems at the same time. So that is my idea. But we are not winning
00:38games and I understand the connection between me and Ange, we have the same problems. In
00:47my opinion, with all due respect, I'm in a bigger club with bigger pressure so I understand
00:54the connection and I think it's really important as a coach to follow his principles.
00:59Postacoglu is under a bit of pressure with the results they've had, can you afford to
01:07feel any sympathy for him?
01:08Of course, especially because he's a good guy, he's a very good coach. He wants to play
01:15football in the right way and that for me is a good thing. We know that, again, when
01:23we choose this kind of profession there are a lot of good things but then you have to
01:30feel that pressure when you don't win.
