00:00In these uncertain and unsettled times we live in, we've seen since October 2023 a massive
00:11increase in anti-Semitism, in anti-Muslim hatred. We saw six months ago riots taking
00:17place across the country in towns and cities. Even though thankfully we were spared those,
00:22many Londoners felt really scared. And what this campaign is about is improving a sense
00:28of unity in our great city, making sure everyone, no matter what your background, feels this
00:33is a city where you're loved and wanted. But also reminding ourselves we can't be complacent
00:38about these sorts of issues. So in addition to this great campaign, we're also working
00:42with the National Lottery and the government, going to be funding a number of initiatives
00:46across our city to bring communities together, to fund local projects, to fund education
00:51initiatives, because we want to make sure here in this great city you aren't simply
00:54tolerated if you're different, you're respected, celebrated and embraced.
