On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, to India. Speaking at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their bilateral meeting at the White House, Trump confirmed that Rana would be sent to India to face justice.

"I am pleased to announce that my administration has approved the extradition of one of the plotters, a very evil person involved in the horrific 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack. He is being sent back to India to face justice," Trump stated.
