01:00The orbital module, or living compartment, is equipped with sleeping bags, food, and
01:05a toilet.
01:09So here we are in the Soyuz.
01:10This is what we call the VET-O, the living compartment, VIT-DO-BOY-AT-SEK in Russian.
01:16It also has a little bathroom.
01:18It's not as good as the other bathrooms, so we try not to use it too much.
01:22It has drinking water in it if we need something to drink.
01:25And then, of course, it's filled up with a lot of cargo for us.
01:30The instrument compartment, not accessible to the astronauts, houses the oxygen and propellant
01:35tanks, thrusters, the on-board computer, and a number of sensors.
01:41From the descent module, the three crew members monitor all information about the spacecraft
01:45and the ISS from ground data, the on-board computers, and an optical display of the view
01:51from a periscope mounted on the outside.
