00:00I am a Kurshidpuri dancer. I have been learning since the age of four and continuing it till
00:09now. I have performed over more than 600 performances till now and I have got few awards which are
00:16Natya Brahmari, Natya Mayuri, Sringara Mayuri and then Natya Veda and many more. I have
00:25been learning from Guru Girish Garu here who resides here. So I have learnt from him Kurshidpuri
00:32and then I have learnt in many other institutes too. Now I am continuing it from Guru Vijay
00:37Shekhar Garu who stays in Hyderabad. I am learning from bottom. I have performed in
00:45India almost all over India. So which is I have performed in Guruvayur temple in Kerala
00:53then Atukal temple also in Kerala and then even in Tirupati where every year there is
01:00Brahmotsavam happening and then even not just Brahmotsavam even other performances that
01:06happen in Tirupati and then even in Vizag in Kala Bharati. Then coming UAE I have performed
01:14almost everywhere. Firstly it is my parents who have encouraged me to pursue my dance
01:20career. I think they have got to know my interest when I was small when I was watching
01:28a movie called Stothilayalu in which the boy dances on a plate and while dancing on the
01:36plate he gets blood. So looking at that I run to the kitchen and then I bring all the
01:41plates and then I start dancing and then I used to tell my parents why am I not getting
01:46blood why am I not getting blood. I think that's when they must have got the interest
01:51because if he is getting obviously I also have to get it because I am also dancing on
01:55a plate. So I think that's when they got to know I think I have some interest in it.
02:01So they sent me to dance and then it's still continuing till now. I would like to get a
02:07school of mine dance school and then teach more kids so that it doesn't stop with this
02:13generation. I want to forward it to every generation.
