00:00We see the outright odds at this moment. Canada, an ever so slight favorite ahead of the U.S.,
00:06plus 1.45 for the Canadians, plus 1.55 for the Americans. Sweden, that third best number,
00:13plus 4.20. And Finland rounds out the group in the four nations face-off at 10-1. Pete,
00:19before we dive into some best bets and perhaps some winning wagers, let's talk about the format
00:24for the four nations face-off. How is this event going to look? What's the structure about to be?
00:30Sure. So each team is going to play each other once in the round-robin. And the first two games
00:37for each team are going to be up in Montreal. So that means Canada's first game tonight against
00:43Sweden is technically a home game at the Bell Center. So that should be beautiful for sure,
00:47whether they win or lose. And then the last day of the round-robin is going to be a dandy this
00:53coming Monday with kind of like a day-night doubleheader thing on the holiday in the U.S.
00:59And then the top two teams, based on the point structure, 3-2-1, regulation win being most
01:06valuable, then shootout, overtime win, two points. And then the one point for the shootout or
01:13overtime loss, no points for regulation loss. Top two teams are advancing to the championship game,
01:20which is next Thursday. And that'll be in TD Garden up in Boston. So the last day of the
01:26round-robin and the championship game are going to be in the home of the Boston Bruins at TD
01:32Garden. So it should be a lot of fun. And I think that on that board that you just showed,
01:36people are overlooking Sweden. Sweden has a nice goaltending duo. Linus Ahlmark and Philip
01:42Gustafsson's been one of the steals of the season for the Minnesota Wild. They also have the best
01:47defense to me on paper with guys like Victor Hedman, Stanley Cup champion, Eric Carlson,
01:52who's been a hundred-point defenseman before. And then also Rasmus Dahlin, who has some untapped
01:57potential from the Buffalo Sabres. And that's a cool thing too, right? Like some of these guys,
02:02like Rasmus Dahlin, Brady Kachuk, they've never played in the Stanley Cup playoffs before. So you
02:07may see those two guys kind of like unleash a fury a little bit in these meaningful games.
