00:05The main causes of poisoning are, for 50% at least, drugs,
00:11then there are 30% chemical substances,
00:14mainly contained in domestic products,
00:17so easily brought by children and people in a normal living environment.
00:23There is a small percentage of industrial accidents,
00:26a small percentage of drug problems, especially new drugs,
00:32but also alcohol, old drugs,
00:34and then there are food poisons, cosmetics,
00:38from all the things with which man can come into contact.
00:41The most affected areas of the population are more or less equally distributed,
00:45if we make big numbers,
00:4735% are children, 30% are the elderly,
00:52and 40-45% are the middle-aged, between children and the elderly.
00:56Children are more often exposed to accidental intoxication,
00:59when we talk about adults and the elderly,
01:01they can be more often self-inflicted,
01:04and certainly children have access to domestic products,
01:08there are more frequent problems with domestic products
01:10than in adults and the elderly.
