00:00Four-time Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah has told UAE residents struggling with their 30x30 Dubai fitness challenge to ignore doubt and take a chance, much like he will at the 2020 Olympics.
00:13The British distance runner was at a community run at the Palm Jumeirah Fitness Village on Saturday and had some inspirational advice for those lacking motivation or fearing failure a week into the campaign,
00:24which challenges residents to do 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days from October 26 to November 24.
00:54Stay active and do different activities because also, you know, it's important that they stay strong and stay active.
01:01And secondly, you know, being able to fit, you have more options. They don't even just have to run, they can do swimming, they can do different activities.
01:09And I think growing up, we had more of a to play, we can go outside and nowadays you see the kids, they just, everyone's indoors.
01:18So I think it's a great challenge and a great campaign and it's nice to be part of it.
01:22And secondly, for us, it was just like, you know, I happened to be in Dubai and I said, why not? Let's go in there as a family.
01:29And as you saw, we're quite an active family.
01:31I think for me, it's just staying hungry, staying motivated and thinking about my oppositions.
01:35And I don't think anything is possible in life if you work hard at it.
01:39Yes, I've achieved many things on the track and I want to continue my journey through the roads in 2020.
01:45We've got 2019, the World Championship and then 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, so we'll see.
