दिल्ली: दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने बुधवार को 1984 के सिख दंगों से जुड़े मामले में पूर्व कांग्रेस सांसद सज्जन कुमार को दोषी करार दिया। 1 नवंबर 1984 को सरस्वती विहार में जसवंत सिंह और उनके बेटे तरुणदीप सिंह की हत्या से जुड़े मामले मे सज्जन कुमार दोषी करार दिया गया। ये फैसला आने के बाद दिल्ली की माता गुजरी कॉलोनी में रहने वाले दंगा पीड़ितों से बात की गई तो उन्होंने इस फैसले पर कहा कि कांग्रेस के समय में कत्लेआम हुए लेकिन मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद एक के बाद एक लगातार कार्रवाई होती जा रही है जिससे वह काफी खुश हैं लेकिन उनका कहना है कि यह जख्मों पर मरहम है। सज्जन कुमार को फांसी की सजा होनी चाहिए तब जाकर उन्हें पूरी तरह से इंसाफ मिलेगा। हालांकि कुछ पीड़ितों ने यह भी कहा कि सज्जन कुमार के साथ-साथ जो भी इसमें दोषी हैं उनको और उनके बच्चों को भी फांसी की सजा होनी चाहिए।
