Almost two years on from the rioting in Ely after the deaths of two teenagers who died on an e-bike after a police chase, and there are still rioters involved being charged for their part in the violence. Eight young people have been charged and pled guilty, with the youngest only 14 at the time of the rioting.

00:46The court heard that the young people, aged between 14 and 16 at the time, had all known
00:50the boys who had died well, and their violent actions, including throwing rocks, bricks
00:54and petrol bombs at police officers, were condoned by adults.
