00:00The UAE ranked first in the region and the 28th happiest place to live in, according
00:15to the World Happiness Report 2016.
00:18The report, released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, is based on
00:24an opinion survey conducted by Gallup Institute in 157 countries.
00:30The survey measures happiness levels using factors such as per capita income and standard
00:35of living, as well as satisfaction with life.
00:39Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe laid wreaths at various cemeteries and memorials ahead
00:45of a visit to the site of the 1941 bombing that plunged the United States into World
00:51War II.
00:52Abe landed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and then headed to National Memorial Cemetery
00:58of the Pacific, where he laid a wreath.
01:02Ricky Harris, a comedian known for both his racy stand-up act and his appearances in family-friendly
01:08fairs such as the TV series Everybody Hates Chris, has died.
01:12He was 54.
01:14The cause was not immediately known.
01:16But Harris' manager said he had suffered a heart attack two years ago.
01:22Well-known director Suraj's alleged sexist comments about Tamannaah Bhatia, the leading
01:27lady of his latest film, drew the ire of co-star Vishal, prompting the filmmaker to issue an
01:33apology.
01:35The director reportedly made sexist remarks while talking about Bhatia's costumes in the
01:40film, kicking up a controversy.
01:42The Bahubali star herself asked for an apology from the filmmaker for all the women in the
01:48film industry.
01:50And finally, the weather.
