00:08Water has been released into Business Bay ahead of the Dubai Canal project completion,
00:12with workers installing a pedestrian bridge near Al Safa.
00:16Among several things coming up along the canal is a huge arch being built between the bridges
00:20of Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road.
00:23The canal, expected to open next month, will have five pedestrian bridges along the 3.2
00:28km stretch.
00:30The war of words between Turkey and Iraq escalated into personal insults between the country's
00:34leaders Tuesday night.
00:36Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi took to Twitter to tell Turkish President Recep
00:41Tayyip Erdogan that Baghdad was not Turkey's enemy.
00:44Al-Abadi vowed that Mosul will be liberated through the determination of men and not through
00:49Skype in a jab at Erdogan's Skype call on his people to oppose an attempted coup in
00:54July.
00:56Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump lashed out at U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan
01:01and other disloyal Republicans on Tuesday.
01:04In a barrage of stinging tweets, Trump condemned the Republicans who have backed away from
01:08his White House run, deepening a dramatic rift in the party.
01:12But a Reuters-Ipsos poll found 58% of Republicans still want Trump to stay atop their party's
01:18ticket.
01:19Samsung says it is sending fire-resistant packages to its U.S. customers as a precaution
01:24against possible fires or explosions from Galaxy Note 7s they return to retailers.
01:30The move comes after the company said Tuesday it was sending production of Galaxy Note
01:347 smartphones permanently.
