00:00We were tired of watching movies that showed, you know, the New York City skyline, the Chicago
00:15City skyline and, you know, I mean, you even see the London skyline and Moscow skyline,
00:23spaceships above all that and all that destruction.
00:27So, you know, Ghanem and I thought, why not bring spaceships, why don't we 3D design spaceships
00:34and put them over Dubai's skyline?
00:37We were actually, we were thinking about this when we were doing our first site in San Francisco.
00:43Yeah, yeah we were.
00:44We were thinking about multiple ideas, so this is just the one we selected to do out
00:52of the feature line.
00:56All in all, two and a half years, the film was done.
00:58I would say, we messed up what we can do and what we couldn't do.
01:05Yeah, definitely, because, you know, we'd never had a standard script to the film.
01:10We had a rough script that we changed depending on how much budget we could put in the film.
01:16I mean, we had to change the script because, oh, okay, so we can't shoot outside there,
01:21let's bring it back home, let's make it, let's bring it indoors.
01:25Let's see where we can't shoot, like we cannot show a spaceship crashing down from the sky,
01:31so let's just bring the spaceship right above, you know.
01:34So there were these moments which weren't, which we knew are not entertaining enough
01:39in the film, but are important and can be done with a certain amount of budget.
01:44So I think that was the toughest part.
01:47That's what took long, to independently fund the script.
01:53We want to work on science fiction exclusively.
01:57We've got a very good post-production team.
01:59I mean, that's what we expertise in.
02:01Our company, Fat Brothers Films, that you can see,
02:05we have some of the heaviest rendering equipment in the country.
02:10I mean, if there's anything we boast, we boast our rendering power.
02:15So we can really click on the post-production.
02:19We're still planning to bring in more 3D work into the cinemas of the United Arab Emirates.
02:24Definitely it's going to be science fiction.
02:26We're definitely, I mean, I think this time it's going to be a more character-based narrative.
02:32We are developing characters and the next two to three months,
02:35you're going to be seeing something about it.
