00:00Well, we do have the four nations face off, which will start tomorrow night.
00:05Uh, Sidney Crosby missed the last couple of games for the penguins before the
00:08break, but he has been skating.
00:11He has been practicing and he is ready to go for Canada.
00:16He is the captain tomorrow night, the opener against Sweden.
00:19Sid, the kid, why is he playing with this injury?
00:23Why not just rest?
00:24Maybe because the penguins aren't going anywhere anyway.
00:27Here's what Sid had to say.
00:28I mean, I think just the opportunity and obviously I wanted to play, you know,
00:32the games, you know, prior to, to the break and, um, wasn't, uh, you know,
00:38wasn't really an option given what happened.
00:40So, um, yeah, I think, you know, you're just every opportunity you can, you know,
00:46whether it's, you know, playing for Pittsburgh or, you know, playing for
00:49Canada, you know, you don't want to miss games and, and, uh, this is an awesome
00:53opportunity, something I haven't done in a long time.
00:55So, um, wanted to be part of this group and, and obviously also want to make
00:59sure that, uh, I can play at the level that you need to, you know, to compete
01:03here.
01:03So, uh, everybody seemed comfortable with that and, and, uh, yeah, I feel good
01:08about it.
01:09You know, what's funny is how utterly fantastic he is still three Stanley
01:15cups, a gold medal, a game winning gold medal goal, and now playing for his
01:21country again, you better as Carver high.
01:24And I both like to say back in the day, I mean, this guy is something else.
01:32He's special.
