00:00You know, I mean, I've literally been here less than 24 hours, but you can feel how this
00:22is, they, it's very much like we want to encourage brands and really, you know, really help
00:30paint the picture of what the brand is.
00:32And that's what I think the coolest part about this shopping festival is, is that they really
00:37know how to nurture brands and really paint the picture of where it comes from, what the
00:41inspiration is, and I think that that only helps the customer.
00:48I wouldn't say that they're regrets, but I was a huge Punky Brewster fan.
00:53Do you know Punky Brewster?
00:56And I love to, you know, wear a black shoe and a white shoe with a red sock and a green
01:01sock.
01:02I was very into, you know, not matching.
01:05And that was an interesting time.
01:08I also, my mom wouldn't let me wax my eyebrows when I was a teenager, and so I decided to
01:15shave them off in the shower, but I didn't use a mirror, and so I shaved the entire front
01:21part off, and I only had eyebrows on the side.
01:25That was fun, too.
01:26That was fun.
01:27Let's see, I went through a, in the early 90s, I kind of went through a phase of dyeing
01:34my hair.
01:35I mean, I have colored hair now, but I would do it with a pen or with Kool-Aid, you know?
01:38I would color my hair green or, what else did I go through?
01:44So many.
01:45But that's what fashion's all about.
01:47It's about looking back and, no matter what, you're going to laugh at yourself.
01:50No matter what.
01:51So you might as well do whatever you want to do in the moment.
01:57I mean, it's really just about expressing yourself and having fun and, you know, using
02:02fashion as an opportunity to show, you know, who you are to the world, and that's what's
02:07fun about it.
02:08And, you know, fashion can, putting on something can make you feel different.
02:13And, you know, if you can choose the clothes that help you feel confident, then you're
02:19winning.
02:20And, you know, I feel like that's the whole fun of fashion.
02:29I play piano, violin, and cello.
02:31I've been playing since I was three.
02:34If it turns into a career or not, I'm not sure.
02:37Right now my plate is extremely full.
02:39But I enjoy it, and I do it, I did it then, I do it now, I'll probably still play in the
02:46future.
02:47I mean, that's what my family loves to do.
02:50So I mean, it's around me a lot.
02:58What can I say?
03:01Many things.
03:02I love to learn.
03:03I love to learn, and I love to experience.
03:05And so you're going to see a lot of that.
03:07I mean, this is a mission-based comedy, and so, you know, every episode is about me kind
03:13of touching into a world that I don't know much about, and really just getting more educated
03:18on that.
03:19And, you know, the show is based off of my Twitter, and it's really cool because I get
03:25to go on Twitter and see what people are kind of gravitating towards, what they want to
03:30learn about too.
03:31And doing the show is so fun because I feel like we're kind of taking that journey together
03:37and learning together and having fun at the same time.
03:44I wake up about an hour and a half to two hours before the rest of my family, and that's
03:48just time to be alone and to just be at one with myself and be still and, you know, just
03:54get in touch just with me.
03:58And that time is very, it's just as important as the time that I'm working, and I feel like
04:03it's, you know, really necessary if you're going to be working all day.
04:11I love gardening.
04:12I have an edible garden at my house, and I love doing that.
04:15I love being outside.
04:16It's my way to just kind of connect to the earth and, you know, just kind of shut everything
04:21else out.
04:26I don't feel it because I'm me.
04:29And, I mean, I grew up in L.A., so my friends have been my friends since I was about two
04:35years old.
04:37And so nobody treats me, they treat me the same way that I treat them.
04:42You know, they tell me when I'm acting out or, you know, if my outfit's crazy.
04:49You know, I mean, we have a very healthy relationship, and I really like that.
04:55I mean, it keeps me grounded.
04:58And so in my world, my experience, I don't feel that at all.
