00:23years back and Suzan has been working a bit longer than I have so it was when, it all
00:28started when she opened, had the launch of Charcoal project which was two years back,
00:35three, three years back.
00:37So and while she was doing her, opening her store I had just done up my place.
00:43So when Suzan came home and she loved the new home we had done, so she in fact asked
00:50me that you must be a part of Charcoal and I want you to do a line there.
00:54So that's how it all started, so it's not only this project, so it started like three
00:58years back when she came and then I, after six months or something, I did a line at Charcoal
01:04and then I joined her with another few projects and so that's when it all started.
01:09So basically I have started way before this with the Charcoal project and we started on
01:15a few other projects and I think this is one of those.
01:18Yeah, this is one of those.
01:19So it's not the first one.
01:20And it's not going to be the last one.
01:21Not at all.
01:22It's only the beginning.
01:23That's how it all started.
01:27Right now for me it's the present, I'm concentrating at what we are doing right now.
01:33What we did in the past and what I'm going to do in the future, I want to enjoy the moment
01:38and the present and we are working towards making it beautiful today and what happens
01:44tomorrow I don't think anybody can make that.

01:49The direction is definitely to create, to be a design company or a design, two design
02:00heads that kind of look at design in a different way, to create an individuality from a continent
02:06of India which has a very talented amount of designers, to put ourselves on a world
02:11platform eventually.
02:13We want to take our energies into that direction but we, like she's saying, we concentrate
02:18on right now and what we are doing, give this our best, then what happens next is destiny.
02:25I'm sure automatically we are going to take it further.

02:33I don't care what X calls me or Y calls me, that has got nothing to do with it.

02:42As I said, it all started with something, a passion, what we enjoyed, creativity, for
02:48the love of design.
02:49It started for me because of that and now we've taken it to a professional level.
02:54So there's no that oh, I'm going to finish this line for me and they cannot call me a
02:59star wife and I'll become a businesswoman and show them.
03:02So it's not that we are showing anybody anything.
03:05This we are doing for ourselves because we love it and I think we are doing a great job
03:10and that's what it is.
03:11More to girl power then.
03:16We both don't have any ego.
03:19We are very like-minded, we are calmer and we are open to criticism from each other.
03:25A lot of people who are partners, their egos are too big and when you have an ego too big
03:31then there's no room for becoming better.
03:36And I think that that is one huge blessing in a partnership like this because you are
03:42two important people but we don't allow anything to come in between of that.
03:51Motherhood doesn't mean that 24-7 you have to be with the child.
03:56Childhood is like school.
03:59They have school, they have activities.
04:01They have enough to do.
04:03So in fact they are really busy.
04:05They are as busy as us.
04:07I don't need to.
04:08Exactly.
04:09Whether it is tennis class or whether it is taekwondo, various things which add up the
04:14whole day.
04:15The time they come home, you are home and then you spend that quality time.
04:23It's not about who you are.
04:25I don't think either one of us have ever felt that whole thing that you know I am so and
04:29so or I have been so and so you know for me.
04:33I don't look at it that way.
04:35I think a person is what they are.
04:38It doesn't matter what your surname is.
04:40It doesn't matter what your maiden name is.
04:43It's just about how you are and I think that's where we connect.
