00:00The Philippines has already sent a naval contingent to Indonesia
00:03that will join the 5th Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo 2025 this month.
00:08The exercise will start from February 16 to February 22 in Bali, Indonesia.
00:14According to Fleet Marine Ready Force or FMRF Spokesperson Lieutenant Oscar Ronaldo Mendoza,
00:20the send-off ceremony was held on February 8 at Naval Operating Base Subic Bay, Zambales.
00:26The contingent, called the Naval Task Group 84,
00:29consists of 175 people from various Philippine Navy Units
00:35and Offshore Patrol Vessel BRP Ramon Alcaraz.
00:39The exercise is said to be aimed at strengthening the alliance of developing countries,
00:44particularly in maritime security operations and humanitarian assistance.
