00:00It's such a mad story. I think the film in itself is such an adventure. I mean it's about
00:13Vishwas Rao who is being played by Shahid and he is an aspiring actor and all he dreams
00:18about is being an actor and his mom wants him to be a cop. So he basically comes to Bombay
00:23in dreams of pursuing an acting career but he ends up being mistaken as a cop by me.
00:29Vishwas Rao is a very different cop. I mean what's really nice about Vishwas is that he
00:33is a really funny cop, he is a bumbling cop, he is a reluctant fighter. You know he is
00:37not the kind of guy who walks out and says I am going to bust everybody's gut.
00:42He is actually somebody who actually doesn't want to fight because he feels that if he
00:49fights and if his face gets hurt then his acting career will be over before it starts.
00:53So he is trying his best to do everything possible not to get into a fight which I think
00:57was really funny and interesting and he is actually a fake cop, he is not even a real cop.
01:02So I think these are the elements which make Vishwas very different from what I have done
01:05and I think it's very endearing and very cute. It's a very very cute role.
01:11I am playing this girl called Kajal who is basically not known as Kajal, she is known
01:15as Complaint Kajal because she is this you know enthusiastic gutsy girl who believes
01:22that she should bring about some rights in society. So whenever she sees any sort of
01:26crime happening she goes rushing to the police station and tries to get some solution to it.
01:31Bada Busta Nikla Hero is pretty much an ensemble of some very very funny scenes. It has a lot
01:37of comedy, it has a lot of action as well. But the action of the film is, it's more like
01:42you know probably like the kind of action that you see in a Jackie Chan film where it's
01:45not too gruesome or it's not too, you know you are watching it and you are still laughing
01:49It's vanilla violence. Exactly, because before and after the action there is comedy.
01:55So it's never getting gruesome, it's never getting dark, it's all fun. There is some
02:00really nice music which Preetam has given and Preetam always gives really good music.
02:04He has always done a great job with my movies. And there is a little bit of romance with
02:08me and Ileana. So it's, you know it's like a whole plate, all dishes are there inside the film.
02:13It's been such a roller coaster, you know because the film in itself has been planned
02:18and written so beautifully by Rajji. So I think it's come out really really well.
02:23Yeah, I think a good film is a good film. And I think every film that an actor does
02:27he wants it to be successful and he wants it to do well. But yes, I am coming after
02:30a year. So it's a film I am excited about. It's a genre I have never attempted before,
02:34you know I have never done an out and out masala entertainer before. So I am really
02:38excited to see what people think about it. But I am in a happy space, you know because
02:41I have got some very nice reactions. You know I knew that when the first promo comes
02:45out I will know whether people are liking it or not liking it because it's a new space
02:48for me as an actor. And I got very nice reactions. People were pleasantly surprised to see me
02:54in that space, that's what I was told. And they were liking the dialogue, they have been
02:58liking the songs of the film. So I am happy but yes, anxious to know what people feel.
03:03Hollywood has been so welcoming. I did not expect so much appreciation, so much love
03:09for my first film itself. I mean granted I did work really hard on it but I didn't expect
03:15it for sure. So I think I came in with no expectations. I was surprised to the point
03:20of almost deliriously happy. But it's been great. I am loving it so far. It's hard work
03:27but it's been great.
