00:11stories at this hour.
00:13Syria's opposition coalition was given the country's seat at the Arab League, where opposition
00:18leader Muath al-Qadhib called for NATO to arm rebels with anti-aircraft missiles to
00:23fight the regime's air power.
00:25A woman has been arrested in Abu Dhabi for selling controlled drugs to customers without
00:29a prescription. The 35-year-old woman was arrested after she sold prescription pills
00:34to an undercover officer.
00:35Ford India ad agency JWT India fired an undisclosed number of employees for their involvement
00:41in unauthorized distasteful advertisements for Ford's Figo in India. The ads, including
00:47a version depicting former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi with three tied-up and gagged
00:52young women, were never requested by Ford and were never intended for paid publication,
00:57JWT said.
00:59The alliance between Australia's Qantas Airways and Emirates Airlines won approval from the
01:04consumer watchdog ahead of this weekend's first coach-share flight to London, with Dubai
01:09the refueling stop rather than Singapore. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
01:14approved a deal ending Qantas' 17-year partnership with British Airways and allowing the sharing

01:35by 15th seed Tommy Haas in the fourth round of the Miami Masters, going down 6-2, 6-4
01:41to the German for only his second loss of the year.
01:44It seems there's no end in sight for Justin Bieber's eccentricities. The teen idol managed
01:49to notch up two bizarre news stories in 24 hours as he flew topless out of a Polish airport
01:54on Tuesday in temperatures of minus 10 degrees Celsius. Upon landing in Los Angeles, he got
01:59into a dispute with a neighbour who called police, claiming battery.
02:03And finally, weather. The daytime temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius, falling to 21
02:08at night.
