00:00Aston Villa are through to the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup after beating Tottenham
00:07Hotspur 2-1 here at Villa Park, under the lights. Ange Bostacoglou now under massive
00:13pressure at Tottenham after departing the Carabao Cup against Liverpool on Thursday
00:18and now 72 hours later suffering defeat once again, this time at the hands of Unai Emery's
00:23Villa. Unai Emery will be very, very happy with his performance from his players and
00:28he was so in the press conference after the game. Delighted to reach the fifth round of
00:33the competition for the first time as Villa boss. It's actually the first time the club
00:36have been in this position since they reached a final in the 2014-15 season, of course beaten
00:41by Arsenal in that game at Wembley, but Villa fans dreaming that they can reach the final
00:46once again. They're looking so, so strong, having depth in numbers, getting to see Marcus
00:51Rashford and Marco Asensio for the first times, their debuts in Villa tops tonight, coming
00:57off the bench in the 66th minute, both of them coming on for Leon Bailey and Daniel
01:02Marlon, slotting in to some fantastic areas and showing some skills on the ball, getting
01:08into advanced areas, very positive, very confident. Marcus Rashford, according to Ruben Amrim,
01:13doesn't try. Well, he was certainly trying on his first Villa appearance, charging down
01:18every loose ball he could, trying to get into the best areas he could, determined to score
01:23a goal on his debut. He wasn't able to get that, but he did have one chance. He craced
01:27a few as well for his teammates. Asensio, some great touches on the ball, a little turn
01:32with his first touches of the ball. So, so impressive. But the main stars of the night
01:37were Jacob Ramsey and Morgan Rodgers for me. Ramsey, the opening goal scorer in 58 seconds.
01:44That's all it took for him to score the first goal of the game and set the tone for it.
01:48It was a great team goal, started by Lucas Dean and Uri Telemann's quite deep. Then the
01:53ball was zipped into Rodgers, who made a quick turn to be the Tottenham midfielders,
01:57but a great through ball for Jacob Ramsey. Ramsey's finish actually wasn't that convincing,
02:02straight at the Tottenham goalkeeper, but Kinski made a big error. He flapped at the
02:06shot, it went in the back of the net and Villa had their lead. Villa, quite easily, could
02:12have been two goals up at the break, went in one goal up. And then in the second half,
02:17it was Rodgers who got the goal. Some great work on the right-hand side from Leon Bailey
02:21and Daniel Marlon. Bailey, you're thinking, you're taking too long here, as you normally
02:25do, dilly-dallying. But he's actually holding up the play really well, as he waited for
02:30Marlon on the right, on the overlap. Marlon put it across the six-yard box. It was a failed
02:35clearance for the top defender. Rodgers was there to sweep in, get the goal. There was
02:40a late consolation from Matthias Tell, his first goal for Tottenham since signing from
02:44Bayern Munich. A very good finish, actually, a delicate volley from Kulasevsky-Kroos, but
02:49it was just that, a consolation to Tottenham, who failed to get back into this game. So
02:53Bayern Munich is delighted, and rightfully so. The confidence here and the mood is high.
