00:00At the end of episode, I believe three or four, you know, Bex does help get info from his phone without his knowing.
00:06So I'm very, I was very, I just wanted to talk about that relationship in general, like how did you build it out and kind of what can you tease about where they're kind of going to go from here because it is very, like I ship them, but I don't know if I should.
00:18Oh, interesting.
00:20I don't know if I should, but I'm invested, so I'm very curious about that.
00:24You are the unpopular opinion on that.
00:26I am.
00:26Yeah.
00:27I mean.
00:27Yeah.
00:28He killed someone.
00:30He did a bad thing.
00:31There's so many killers on the show.
00:32It's okay.
00:33It's fine.
00:33It was one little murder.
00:35You know, I'd actually known Nick kind of in passing before that.
00:39So it was, and then he nailed the audition.
00:42So going into filming with him, it was nice to have a little bit of like history already, even though I didn't know him too, too well.
00:49And as far as the characters go, I'm always like cheering for the history relationships where it's like they've been through so much together.
01:02I think on the other hand, though, Shane, if they do build this love story, the triangle, Shane is safe and he's, you know, very calm, cool waters.
01:12And so I think that it could, you know, we have like the bad boy who murdered someone.
01:18We have the person who didn't murder someone.
01:21So, yeah, we'll see.
01:23And also, you know, Bex is a mother.
01:25She did adopt that girl from the case where Oliver murdered someone.
01:28But I'm curious, how would you say motherhood has helped her in her career?
01:32And kind of, I'm very curious about that aspect of the character.
01:35Yeah, I was nervous about that part going in because I don't have kids of my own.
01:39And then also it's not just like a three year old.
01:42It's a full grown woman.
01:45And so I was like, OK, how do I do this?
01:48And then there's some solace in the fact that she didn't raise her.
01:51There probably is a little bit of unknowing of how to raise an already grown human.
01:59But I think at the end of the day, it makes Bex more empathetic because one, she went through what she went through when she was 15 with her best friend.
02:08And then seeing it happen to this girl that she's now adopted, Samantha.
02:13I think every time she goes into something, it's like, what if this happened to her?
02:18And so there's a lot of empathy and there's a lot of, yeah, trying to understand people because it does, has and will affect her daily life.
02:28And I'm also curious, obviously, we're finding certain things out as each episode goes along, but I'm sure there's going to be a lot more.
02:33What can you kind of tease about where the mystery is going to go?
02:36Do we get all our questions answered by the end of the season or are there a lot of things we're not going to see?
02:40No, because then we wouldn't get a second season.
02:43Yeah, no, there's definitely more question marks, but it's it kind of ties it up in a way that you're like, I see where this is going to go now.
02:52And it's really exciting. I think that season two is going to be even better in a lot of ways.
