00:00One NGO urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to join hands after the Ministry of Home Affairs refused to accept a memorandum from the Sosmar defense family,

00:10which demanded an immediate response regarding the safety of the defense.

00:14The family, who spent the night in the village of Penjara Sungai Buloh last week,

00:19gathered at the KDN building to hold a meeting with the officer and to hand over the memorandum.

00:26Sivan Doraisami, the voice of the Malaysian people's executive director, said the KDN officer met with the family,

00:33but only informed that he would convey his concerns in voice mail.

00:38Sivan said the family is now considering further action, including continuing the hunger strike,

00:43continuing to protest at the KDN building or relying on the Prime Minister's Office.

00:49Approximately 50 people, including members of the Sosmar defense family,

00:52settled in the village of Penjara last week to protest against the request for a memorandum.
