00:15There are various solutions implemented to reduce the problem of traffic in EDSA.

00:20There is number coding, removal of provincial bus, rehabilitation project like flyover and underpass, and others.

00:28But the heavy problem is that it is still related to EDSA and does not advance.

00:33With the help of MMDA President Bongbong Marcos and DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia

00:39for the Five-Year Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan,

00:42the suggestion is to reduce the congestion fee or tolls in EDSA every rush hour.

00:48Just like what Singapore is implementing.

00:51We understand that in other countries like Singapore,

00:55there are congestion charges where the city charges a fee for certain hours

01:04so that you can bring your vehicle.

01:06This is to encourage use of mass public transport.

01:10The President's answer is that it may not be appropriate yet.

01:14It can only be done if there is an alternative, if our mass transport is already efficient.

01:20We asked some car owners about this.

01:23It's around 20 pesos.

01:25The toll fee is okay.

01:27If it's high, it's better to go to Martica.

01:33I'm willing to pay if our everyday travel will be easier, especially at work.

01:40It's better not to go first because there are a lot of people who will be affected.

01:44And the prices are high.

01:46In tax, the maintenance of the road is taken from there.

01:52But the Department of Transportation said that it will be studied.

02:16is the removal of the U-turn slot in C5 Kalayaan, which will be replaced by an underpass.

02:30The MFDA also confirmed that the removal of the EDSA bus carousel

02:34and the addition of MRT capacity has been discussed.
