00:00Thank you very much.
00:14This is a nice crowd, isn't it, huh?
00:17You've been waiting a long time for this.
00:19So have I.
00:21Actually, it was so ridiculous.
00:23But here we are.
00:26And this doesn't have to be long.
00:27It's just all about common sense.
00:30It doesn't have to be long.
00:32In a few moments, I'll sign a historic executive
00:35order to ban men from competing in women's
00:38sports.
00:39It's about time.
00:40Under the Trump administration, we will
00:46defend the proud tradition of female
00:59athletes, and we will not allow men to beat up,
01:02injure, and cheat our women and our girls.
01:05From now on, women's sports will be only for
01:09women.
01:10But before going further, I want to share some very
01:21exciting news from our military.
01:23After years of shrinking force numbers at levels
01:27that nobody has ever seen before — four years of
01:30this we went through — and missed recruiting
01:33targets every single month, it was just
01:36announced that, in December, the U.S.
01:38Army had its single-best recruitment in more than
01:4015 years.
01:41Thanks.
01:42Every single day, nearly 350 new soldiers enlisted
01:52to defend our nation, and they're very, very happy
01:56to have done so.
01:57We've done lots of interviews, and we asked
02:00why this was taking place now, and they just said
02:03there's a spirit about our country that they
02:05haven't seen in many, many years.
02:07And I happen to agree with that.
02:09But it really is clear proof that the spirit is
02:16sweeping our armed forces.
02:18And we have a great leader in Pete, as you know.
02:23We all know Pete so well.
02:24He's going to be fantastic.
02:26And so many of our great heroes and people are
02:29starting to understand what hero is all about.
02:31So that is something that is very important.
02:35We've gotten the woke lunacy out of our military.
02:38And now we're, very importantly, getting it
02:45out of women's sports.
02:46That's taking place very strongly.
02:48So, in recent years, the radical left has waged an
02:55all-out campaign to erase the very concept of
02:58biological sex and replace it with a militant
03:01transgender ideology.
03:04You've heard a little bit about this, haven't you?
03:05Huh?
03:06Just a little bit?
03:08Does anybody agree with them?
03:09It would be not a good thing to say yes right here.
03:14Female athletes have been forced onto the front
03:17lines, and men claiming to be girls have stolen more
03:20than 3,500 victories.
03:23That's a lot.
03:24And invaded more than 11,000 competitions
03:27designed for women.
03:28Last year, a male cyclist posing as a woman competed
03:33in the 800-mile Arizona Trail Race, a very big
03:37deal in cycling, and obliterated the woman's
03:40course record by nearly five and a half hours.
03:44Sounds like a lot, doesn't it?
03:46Huh?
03:47Five and a half hours.
03:48Oh, but you have to hear the weightlifting records.
03:50They've — you think that's bad.
03:53The weightlifting's worse.
03:55In 2023, a man in women's powerlifting broke two
04:00world records and outlifted his closest
04:03female opponent in one event by 440 pounds.
04:07And they continue to defend themselves, Mr. Congressman.
04:14You know that, right?
04:15They continue to defend themselves.
04:17We hope they continue onward because I don't
04:20think we can lose a race.
04:22This was one of the big reasons that we all won,
04:24and it's one of the big reasons that we had a
04:26record, a landslide like they haven't seen before
04:30— very often, anyway.
04:32And who could forget last year's Paris Olympics,
04:35where a male boxer stole the woman's gold medal
04:38after brutalizing his female opponent so
04:40viciously that she had to forfeit just after 46
04:44seconds, and she was a championship fighter.
04:47And actually, they had two women, or two people,
04:49that transitioned, and both of them won gold
04:53medals, and they won them very convincingly.
04:56But all of that ends today because, with this
04:58executive order, the war on women's sports is over.
05:03Thank you, everybody.
05:32It should have been done long ago, actually.
05:46Thank you very much.
05:48With my action this afternoon, we're putting
05:50every school receiving taxpayer dollars on notice
05:53that if you let men take over women's sports teams
05:56or invade your locker rooms, you will be
06:00investigated for violations of Title IX
06:03and risk your federal funding.
06:04There will be no federal funding.
06:14So this will effectively end the attack on female
06:17athletes at public K-12 schools and virtually all
06:21U.S. colleges and universities.
06:23I don't think we've missed anything, but if we do,
06:25we'll make it up very quickly with an order.
06:29And I don't think we will at all.
06:30I want to, before we go on, I want to thank so
06:33many people that have worked so hard in the
06:36political establishment, and they're before me
06:39largely.
06:39And I'm going to — I think I'm going to miss a
06:41few.
06:42It always happens when you do this, but it's just
06:44one of those things.
06:45But we have many senators here, many governors here,
06:48many state attorneys general.
06:51Generals here.
06:53They're all over the place, actually.
06:54I see.
06:55Some of them went after me, but they failed.
06:58And they're really friends, and they're
07:11friends of women's sports, that I can tell you.
07:13So, Senator Marsha Blackburn.
07:16Where's Marsha?
07:17Hi.
07:17Senator Katie Britt.
07:23Thank you, Katie.
07:24Senator Katie Britt.
07:27Mike Lee.
07:28Where's Mike?
07:29Mike?
07:30I love his new haircut.
07:34I love that haircut, Mike.
07:37He just hit the hell with it, right?
07:38Huh?
07:39I think you look great.
07:43Senator Cynthia Loomis.
07:45Cynthia, where are you?
07:46Cynthia.
07:46Hi, Cynthia.
07:47Doing a good job.
07:50And Roger Marshall.
07:51Thank you, Roger.
07:52Great.
07:53Mark Wayne, Mullen, Oklahoma.
07:57I love Oklahoma.
08:00I don't know what it is, Oklahoma.
08:02I went 77 out of 77 counties.
08:05It's never been done.
08:06Second was Ronald Reagan.
08:08Fifty-six, right?
08:10Yeah.
08:12And Tommy Tuberville, a great coach.
08:14You know, his quarterback was named Mahomes.
08:20He was a great college coach.
08:24And I said, how good was he?
08:26He said, you don't want to know how good.
08:28He made me into a great coach.
08:30He's a pretty good quarterback, right?
08:33Yeah, he was very good.
08:35He's a good guy, too.
08:37Also governors, we have Governor Glenn Youngkin,
08:40Virginia.
08:41Thank you, Glenn.
08:42Good job.
08:43Bill Lee of Tennessee.
08:47Bill, thank you.
08:48Jeff Landry, Louisiana.
08:52Thank you, Jeff.
08:55Kim Reynolds of Iowa.
08:59We're trying to move, you know, education back to
09:01the states.
09:02You do know that.
09:03We're making a big move, and we're counting on
09:05Linda McMahon.
09:06Linda McMahon.
09:09And sitting next to you is the new Star is Born.
09:13Caroline, congratulations.
09:15You've done great.
09:17New Star.
09:19Star is Born.
09:22Patrick Morrissey.
09:23Patrick, congratulations.
09:24Great race.
09:25A great friend of mine, and he's really helped us at
09:30the border.
09:31Done a great job.
09:32Of Texas, Greg Abbott.
09:34Thank you, Greg.
09:35Jim Pillen.
09:41Where are you?
09:42Jim, very good.
09:44Very good.
09:45Are you feeling good?
09:46He had a bad fall.
09:48You're doing all right, huh?
09:49Good.
09:50You look great.
09:51Brad Little.
09:52Brad.
09:53Thank you, Brad.
09:54Good job.
09:54Good job.
09:55Do you like education going back to your state?
09:59You'll make it top, right?
10:01You know, just so people understand, in the
10:04education world, we're ranked very, very poorly.
10:07We're 38, 39, and 40.
10:09Out of 40 countries, we're at the bottom of the pack
10:12almost always, or very close to it.
10:15That just came out.
10:16We're 40 out of 40.
10:18And if we move it back to the states, I will
10:21guarantee you that if you take Idaho, you take
10:24Iowa, you take almost any of the states that I'm
10:27looking at right now, they'll be as good as
10:30Norway.
10:30You have Norway, you have Sweden, you have Denmark.
10:34I must say, you have China that's very high in
10:36the pack, which is no longer we can say it has
10:38to be a small area.
10:39China is very big, but they do a very good job.
10:42But we'll have at least 35 of our states that will
10:46be as good or better than any of those countries,
10:49and we have to get it done.
10:50Attorney General Steve Marshall.
10:57Steve, thank you very much.
10:59Steve, wherever you may be.
11:01General Tim Griffin, thank you.
11:05A person who is so wonderful.

11:14Brenna?
11:15Brenna Bird.
11:16She supported me before people wanted to support
11:22me.

11:27I appreciated it.

11:37Thank you very much.
11:38One of the greats, really.
11:39And Jason Meiris.
11:42Thanks, Jason.
11:43And now we get back to our members of Congress, and
11:51we'll go quickly.
11:53But it's a great group of people.
11:55Steve Scalise is right in front here.
11:57What a brave guy Steve is.
11:59Steve went through a lot, and he proved one thing to
12:04me, only one thing, that his wife loved him.
12:08His wife loves him because I went to the hospital
12:10that night, and he was not given even a shot.
12:14Right, Mike?
12:15And I was with him, and I was with his wife, and she
12:18was devastated.
12:19She was really devastated.
12:21And I've been to, you know, similar situations.
12:24Not quite as bad.
12:25But the wives were not so devastated.
12:27And I can tell you, I can tell you, that great wife
12:30of yours loves you.
12:32So anyway, and what you've done is incredible.
12:34The way you've come back, it's you're better, you
12:36look better now than you did before it happened.
12:40But nobody wants to go through that.
12:43Yeah, it's amazing.
12:45Tom Emmer doing a fantastic job.

17:32What do you like doing best, Ronny?
17:34I like meeting your doctor, Jim.
17:38Who is the healthiest patient you ever had?
17:40You know why I liked him?
17:47The fake news asked, so, doctor, he had Obama, Bush,
17:51and Trump in the White House.
17:53He was the White House doctor.
17:55And they asked him, who's the healthiest of the three?
17:59He said, it's not close.
18:00It's Donald Trump.
18:02And from that moment, I love this guy.
18:05Right?
18:06Thank you, Ronny.

18:54Let's see.
18:56Ooh, does anybody remember her opponent?
18:57We tend to forget.
18:59We forgot that one, huh?

20:24You do.
20:25That's a lot of people.
20:26Can I give here?
20:27Why don't you hold that?
20:28You'll sell it tonight.
20:31So, just to finish up, I'm directing the Secretary of
20:36State, Marco Rubio, who, by the way, is doing a
20:39fantastic job.
20:40In fact, he just left Panama.
20:47We're trying to take back the Panama Canal.
20:49Little things like that.
20:51It'll all happen.
20:52But Marco is going to make clear to the
20:55international Olympic committees there, and he's
20:57going to make it as clear as anybody can make it
21:00that America categorically rejects transgender
21:04lunacy.
21:04We want them to change everything having to do
21:06with the Olympics and having to do with this
21:09absolutely ridiculous subject that we even have
21:12to talk about this subject.
21:13If you went back 10 years or 15 years and you would
21:17move forward and listen to this, you'd say, what the
21:19hell are they talking about?
21:20This is impossible.
21:21But you have people out there, Democrats, that are
21:23still totally in favor.
21:26They can't win the argument.
21:28They can't win a debate.
21:29They look like fools, and they continue to go on.
21:32And it's okay, because as long as they do this and
21:34open borders and all of the other things they talk
21:37about, transgender everything, all they want
21:40to do is transgender and men playing in women's
21:43sports and all of these crazy things.
21:45And if they continue, I think we're going to end
21:48up ultimately — it's not going to matter because
21:50we're never going to go along with them and we're
21:52just going to keep winning elections.
21:53Right, Mike?
21:54So when the Olympics comes to Los Angeles, I was
22:03responsible for getting the Olympics.
22:05And I said, oh, boy, this is terrible because I got
22:08the Olympics and I won't be President.
22:10And then what happened is that an election — strange
22:13things happened in that election.
22:15So I missed four years, and now I have the Olympics.
22:17It was sort of circuitous.
22:20It was a circuitous situation.
22:22And we also have the World Cup coming, which is
22:25going to be fantastic.
22:27And we have, as you know, very importantly, 250
22:30years coming.
22:30That's a big one — next year.
22:32So that's a very big one.
22:33But in Los Angeles, in 2028, my administration
22:36will not stand by and watch men beat and batter
22:41female athletes.
22:42And we're just not going to let it happen.
22:43And it's going to end, and it's ending right now.
22:46And nobody is going to be able to do a damn thing
22:48about it because when I speak, we speak with
22:52authority.
22:52And for the same reason, just to make sure, I'm
23:00also directing our Secretary of Homeland
23:04Security, Kristi Noem, who's also doing — she's
23:07out there with you, Greg — a fantastic job.
23:09She's unbelievable.
23:10I was watching her riding yesterday on a horse.
23:13She was as good as anybody.
23:15She's very good.
23:17To deny any and all visa applications made by men
23:20attempting to fraudulently enter the United States
23:23while identifying themselves as women
23:26athletes to try and get into the games, maybe
23:30where they are unable to get into the games.
23:33We're honored to be joined today by many
23:37incredible advocates for women's sports, including
23:40the brave swimmer at the forefront of this battle.
23:43And Riley Gaines is a person that I've been
23:45watching.
23:46She fought hard.
24:02Riley was a 12-time All-American — well,
24:05that's pretty good — 12-time All-American who
24:07sacrificed countless hours in the pool just for a
24:10chance at the title that's so important to her.
24:13She gave up everything and gave — and just gave
24:16everything she had.
24:18But then the league forced her to share a spot on the
24:22podium with a male swimmer who took her trophy while
24:26the media celebrated this stolen glory.
24:28And Riley is just a tremendous athlete, and it
24:32was a very unfair situation.
24:34I watched it.
24:34A lot of people watched it.
24:35It was ridiculous, frankly.
24:37But I want to thank Riley.
24:38She really has been in the forefront.
24:40People that aren't that well-versed in this would
24:43say that she was the leader.
24:45And great job, Riley.
24:48Thank you very much.
24:49Appreciate it.
24:50And also with us is another great champion for
24:57women, Peyton McNabb.
25:00In high school, Peyton was a rock star athlete.
25:02Where is Peyton?
25:05Where is Peyton?
25:09I like Peyton.
25:11Nice to see you.
25:11Good job.
25:12Looks like a good athlete to me.
25:17In high school, Peyton was a rock star athlete
25:20preparing for a future in college sports.
25:22But in one volleyball match, a much taller and
25:24stronger male spiked the ball right in her face,
25:28knocking her unconscious, partially paralyzing her
25:31right side, and leaving her with a traumatic brain
25:35injury.
25:36And Peyton said it was 100 percent avoidable if only
25:40my rights as a female athlete had been more
25:43important than a man's feelings.
25:44And we can't let it happen, and it's not going
25:48to happen.
25:48It's not going to happen anymore, Peyton.
25:56It's not going to happen.
25:58Are you okay?
25:59Are you good?
26:00Good.
26:00That's good.
26:02We're also pleased to be joined by many incredible
26:06leaders on this issue.
26:07And, as I mentioned before, Speaker Mike
26:10Johnson.
26:10And he has been so strong on this issue because he's
26:13a man of common sense.
26:15I mean, it really is.
26:16It's common sense more than anything else.
26:17So, Mike, thank you.
26:19Great job.
26:19Great job in everything.
26:21He's got the easiest job of any politician in
26:24history.
26:25He's got the nicest, like 200 and almost 20.
26:29It sort of varies between — depends on how many
26:32people I take for my administration.
26:33It goes up and down a little bit.
26:36But I promised I won't take any more.
26:38I just wanted to see how good he was.
26:39I was testing you.
26:41And we have some great people, but he's filling
26:43them up rapidly.
26:44He had some big wins the other day — very big
26:46wins the other day.
26:47But you've done a fantastic job.
26:50Thank you very much, Mike.
26:51We appreciate it.
26:51We all appreciate it.
26:52And also, the dozens of members of the House and
26:58Senate and governors that we — attorney generals
27:01— so many people, and the people outside that
27:03can't even get in.
27:03And this room is packed.
27:05And, you know, I offered to build a ballroom.
27:08I'm very good at building ballrooms.
27:09I build beautiful ballrooms.
27:11And I actually offered to build a ballroom for the
27:13White House.
27:14I was going to build it right there.
27:15This was going to be the reception room.
27:17And then I was going to build a beautiful,
27:19beautiful ballroom like I have at Mar-a-Lago — as
27:22beautiful as it can be.
27:23It was going to cost about $100 million.
27:25I offered to do it, and I never heard back.
27:29I offered this — I offered to do it to the
27:31Biden administration — very active
27:33administration.
27:34And they didn't — they didn't hear back.
27:36And I said again and again, three or four times, I
27:38said to top people, and they just didn't know
27:42what to do.
27:43They sort of said, This is good, but we — they had
27:45no idea.
27:46So I'm going to try and make the offer to myself,
27:49you know?
27:49Because we could use a bigger room.
27:52Right, Marcia?
27:53We could use a bigger room.
27:54President, would you like to build?
27:58Yeah, I would.
27:59We could use — at the White House, it's — it
28:01would actually be a beautiful addition.
28:03It's going to cost nothing.
28:04I'll spend the whole thing myself, or we'll do a big,
28:07beautiful room.
28:07But we could use it at the White House.
28:09You know what they do when they have a big
28:12ceremony?
28:12They put up a tent.
28:14And somehow, I think we've outgrown the tent
28:16stuff, right?
28:17Don't you think?
28:18So we'll see if they can — we'll see if Trump
28:20will approve it.
28:21But the actions we're taking today are the
28:26latest in a sweeping effort to reclaim our
28:28culture and our laws from the radical left crusade
28:31against biological reality.
28:34On day one, I made it official — and I'm making
28:38it official — policy of the United States
28:40government that there is, you know, two genders.
28:43We have two genders.
28:44What might they be?
28:46Man and woman.
28:48Right?
28:48Male and female.
28:50Male and female.
28:53I can't think of too many others, but it's pretty
28:59amazing.
29:00We rescinded federal funds to — and this is so
29:03important — to any program that promotes
29:06transgender ideology using taxpayer dollars.
29:09We're not going to do it.
29:10We're not going to do it.
29:11And last week, I effectively banned the
29:17chemical castration and surgical mutilation of
29:20minor children.
29:21I banned — can you believe I even have to say
29:38that?
29:38I banned — Governor, I banned — it's just, like,
29:42who would ever think we have to even say that?
29:45Last week, I banned.
29:47Every day, we're ending the extremism of the
29:50last four years.
29:51We have other things that are just as ridiculous —
29:53not having to do with this subject, but just as
29:56ridiculous.
29:57Open borders where people are allowed to pour in
30:00from all over the world, from jails and prisons and
30:02mental institutions and insane asylums.
30:05People that are very sick.
30:07People that are very evil.
30:08Killers.
30:08Murderers.
30:10Many of them murdered more than one person.
30:13And we have to justify the fact that we're moving
30:16them out.
30:17We are moving them out in tremendous numbers.
30:19Tom Holman and Christy are doing a fantastic job.
30:21But — and the governor and other governors, too.
30:24But we're — that we have to even fight for this
30:28stuff is just incredible.
30:29And the media doesn't want to talk about it
30:33because it's nothing they can talk about.
30:34It's just — they just don't want to really talk
30:36very much about it.
30:38Serious problem.
30:38But we're doing a great job.
30:39And the people understand, and that's why we won in a
30:42landslide.
30:42You know, it's — it's — they made it easy.
30:46And at some point, you know, we have to hope they
30:48do come around because we can never let this happen
30:51again, what's happened to our country.
30:52We can never let this happen again.
30:54So we are restoring sanity and common sense, very
31:02simply, to our government.
31:03We're defending the rights and safety and pride of
31:07the American people, including our great,
31:09great, great female athletes.
31:11What athletes you are, too.
31:19And, you know, I'm not allowed to say this
31:26politically.
31:27It could end my career.
31:27They're really beautiful people.
31:29These are beautiful people.
31:30But you know, like everything else, it's a
31:34little bit different today.
31:35You're not allowed to say that because if you call a
31:38woman or a girl beautiful, that's the end of your
31:40career.
31:40Let's take a chance on it, Mike.
31:42Let's take a chance.
31:44So I'm going to — I want to thank everybody for
31:46being here.
31:47It's fantastic.
31:47And this is sort of a big, big day.
31:49It shouldn't have even been necessary to take
31:52place.
31:52This started a long time ago, and we ended it
31:55today.
31:56And I'm going to sign the executive order right now,
31:59and everything I said will go into effect
32:01immediately.
32:02Okay?
32:26You know, if you'd like to gather around me, I
32:28think I'm going to be okay.
32:29Come on.
32:30Come on.
32:31Come on.
32:31Come on.
32:32Come on.
32:33Come on.
32:33Come on.
32:34Secret Service is worried about them?
32:40If we have to worry about them, we have big
32:44problems.
32:45Okay, do you want to have — do you want to do
32:48this?
32:49Watch.
32:50Watch what I do, and then I'm going to give you
32:53some pens.
32:53Okay?
32:54You ready?
32:55What a nice picture this is, huh, Governor?
32:56You ready?
32:57We'll do a good job.
32:58Wait.
32:58Let me press that.
33:00I want to make this a really good signature because this is, you know, this is a big one,
33:11right?
33:12Oh, I think we have a 10.
33:17We have a 10.
33:18God bless you, Mr. President.
33:33Pretty good, huh?
33:34I see that.
33:35Okay?
33:36Good.
33:37Now you're going to go out and win those events, right?
33:38Nice to see you all.
33:39Nice to see you.
33:40Great going, everybody.
33:43Thank you, kids.
33:44Here, take a pen.
33:46I'll give some of these out, okay?
33:47Take a pen.
